There is not very much to see or do around this station, but a unique and noticable feature of the station is a riddle engraved into the tiles on the wall that separates the station from Interstate 8 freeway. The riddle is more conspicuous when standing on the eastbound platform. Roman De Salvo created this public art installation in 2005. The riddle can possibly entice transit riders into looking around for its answer while waiting for a train to pull into the station. The answer to the riddle is found on a handrail at the east end of the station, engraved in Braille. Although there is limited street parking around the station, there is no transit parking at the site. Parking is available at 70th Street Station, which is the next station east of this station.

With the many travels that I have had is the city of Las Vegas they have developed a high solid metal grid work fence that runs along the sidewalk and down the middle of the street it helps with keeping people safe and those that run the street its deterrence. When you have any type of trains and the high-speed trains that run on electricity there have been many that have tried to outrun the trains and others that tried to speed past the trains, yet the trains win in the end. There are many areas where many people run across the train tracks trying to outrace the trolleys that so many don't realize they take there lives in their own hands. With the addition of Petco Park there are many parking lots that run alongside tracks and the crossings there is no fence that protects people crossing and there are no signals that warn people with the oncoming trollies. Between the stations of the Market Street and the 12th and Imperial there are parts of the streets that are just a very dangerous crossing area that where you have to run across the tracks that can be very dangerous with the train speeding towards because they are large trains and takes time to stop they don't stop on a dime. There is no metal fence that can help keep people off the tracks with several trains coming down the tracks they can be very dangerous and with three or four traveling that is dangerous. With the many trolleys that travel up and down through the main Market Street and the Main Station of 12th and Imperial. The trolleys are the best way to travel is you follow the rules and the signs that are posted is not to cross through red lights and race after a trolley purely dangerous. The transit system is designed to have safe and great time with the travel with the many trains and the busses that if we can all follow the many signs and the warnings.

Even with no free parking and not a ton going on, I feel it's a descent stop for the residents in the area to commute and it's maintained well enough for the a-ok!

The limited access and sporadic timing does make it sometimes inconvenient to use as reliable transportation. However the new cars are really nice and they even have heating/ac so you can escape the weather. This station is pretty central on the green line. The biggest issue is parking since there is no long term parking at all. A few of the stations allow all day or at least longer then a hour parking. That is not the case here. The good points are there is a little store right at the station along with a bar and a coffee shop.

This location also isn't conveniently located close enough to any stores or anything super convenient. Unless you want to go to the gas station, which that's probably like a 10 to 15 minute walk from this trolley station depending on how fast you walk.
