"cafe" is a very loose term in this instance. they brew "fairtrade coffee…read morebeans" in store, in which you can buy an extremely teeny tiny hot drink for 99p, a cold drink starting at a pound, and snacks starting at 59p. the connection is slo o o oo o oo ooo oooo oo o o o o w. but the neatest part about my adventures at this cafe is how they do false advertising. the screen saver/opening page on each monitor in the place advertises "buy any hot drink and get 20 minutes FREE internet!" (i even took a picture of it!) hence, stupidly, i ordered a hot chocolate so i could get my free 20 minutes. (otherwise, it is 1 pound for 20 minutes, so why not get a free drink with their offer, right??) ohhhh no-siree-bob! the manager (whom i named "oleg" for the mere fact that he looked and sounded like an oleg) became all testy and demanded 2 quid. when shown the advertisement that is on EVERY SINGLE DAMN COMPUTER IN THE PLACE, he merely replied that it's an old ad. amazingly, after a few days i went back and all of the "old" advertisements were still on every computer. so, if you would like to use a slow internet connection with oleg staring a hole through you, while sipping on a scalding hot teeny tiny coffee at a place that does not honor its advertised prices, then definitely go here!

I ordered some items from Japan and noticed that the company was sending them to my old address. I…read morecontacted FedEx, long before my package had even reached the UK, and asked them to change the delivery address. They said no problem, it would take 24-48hrs and confirmed that my package would be delivered to my new address. Well, imagine my surprise when they delivered it to my old address. I raised a case with them and they confirmed that the change of address had been requested on their system but not actioned. Now, and I nearly fell off my chair they are claiming that my request to change the address was AFTER they had already delivered I pointed out that they have the chats. I had two chats with their reps. The first was the change request and the second an escalation when they delivered to the wrong address. I know they have both chats as the agent on the second chat said he would attach the second chat to the escalation. FedEx claim that there is no way to identify the date and time of the chats, something I don't believe for a second. I'd they just read the content of the first chat, even if they can't find the date, it would be obvious from the dialogue that the chat was pre delivery. FedEx know they cocked up and are just trying to cover it up. Shame on you FedEx!

I discovered the place by accident and boy am I glad I did. At the front are several tables for…read morepeople to eat (they used to be the smoking area) and at the back are several computers and I think one table (which used to be the non-smoking area). While I can't comment on the Internet services, I will say that the food is awesome, especially the paninis. They're huge, loaded with toppings and come with salad and a Pringle. I cannot recommend them enough. The service is quick and the staff are friendly without being intrusive.
