Stef understands how the dating game is played!…read more In today's day and age I am tired of having to play games and not understand why I am not getting call backs. Stef is great at getting not only attractive, non-crazy, reliable, educated people in her service, but she also can get you feedback that is invaluable. She does care and does not want to take on people that have unrealistic demands, nor people that are not going to be seriously looking for a relationship. Comparing her to some of the other services out there, she is reasonably priced and doesn't promise what she can't provide. I'd recommend you contact her because you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

"You can't always get what you want but sometimes you just might find that you get what you need"…read moreRolling Stones In my particular case a few years ago you can add that I was not always getting what I wasn't but looking in the right places. So through a friend, I made an appointment with Stef who was kind of blunt, direct and to the point and she told me a bunch of things I needed to do and I followed them. Using the info about myself that I gave her I was able to find more ways to navigate the dating jungle especially where I had been going online and what I had been posting myself on online dating sites. Unlike other people she offers consultations in this area like how to post on your dating app in order to meet someone compatible and not just because they look good or whatever metrics I was using that was not working . Since she showed me which pictures I should use online, what apps and dating sites are the ones that would be best for me, I think that was pretty unique and that is why I dated someone for a long time about 2 years ago. I feel that she honestly cared about having you meet someone.

Chicago First Dates has exceeded my expectations with venue choices, and quality of guys that show…read moreup. I am now dating a really great man thanks to this company! I'm an accountant by trade and consider myself fairly picky along with being a harsh critic. It was hard for me to jump back into dating after raising my daughter. It was hard not to be skeptical when considering the speed dating options... and I was for sure not going to attempt online dating. The customer service here has been nothing short of exceptional answering all questions, and standing behind their product (Thanks Jon!!) For those that like to meet face to face, but are careful to not give out personal information, this is a great option. I've been to Aloft, Neat, and Coach House for a speed dating event held by Chicago First Dates. There are usually 8 to 12 guys that show up. The girls sit, and the guys move from table to table. The majority of the men have had great qualities and were just looking for someone to meet. The company doesn't do any sort of background check, but the cost seems to keep a good quality control. I would go to an event with questions that were general, but would tell me enough about a person. By the end of 5 minutes it's usually not too hard to tell if there is a spark, and interest in moving forward to a date. Of all the events I went on, there were few that I chose to "match" and go on a date. This had more to do with me being selective and not the caliber of guys that showed up. If I could give any advice it would be to not be afraid of going to an event even if it's a bit far away. People travel from all over for example... the Schaumburg event had people from Lombard, Downers Grove, Chicago, Schaumburg, and other cities. Sometimes it is hard to hear, so I'd pull the chair a little closer to me before the event started (sitting next to the guy instead of across the table). Lastly, know if you are just looking to "date" or head into a more serious relationship. I have found all of the guys to be straight forward with what they were looking for, and very honest. Either way it's a really fun night whether you meet that special someone, or decide to go to the next speed dating event. The time goes quick, and the conversations are really fun!! Chicago First Dates is worth giving a try!!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. This is a scam! Let's talk about canceled event after…read morecancelled event. On top of it they will cancel your event a few hours before it is scheduled. So after 4 canceled events. I finally asked for a refund. I had canceled so many plans to make their event for them to cancel last minute. When I asked for a refund they said the I didn't tell them in time and needed to let them know 5 days before the event to cancel. But on the last email they sent out for the event it said please email confirm you are going. I never emailed them and they just decided to put me on the list. So just checking my email and I see I am on the list for event I didn't sign up for seems super sketchy. So I email back saying I can't make it and asked for a refund. To get a response back the best we can do is give you a free code for another event. These events rarely happen if ever... I just wanted a refund which I rightfully deserved after that whole experience. Please if you are looking for love go to an actual speed dating company not this scam. Also yes I created an account just for this because it was such an awful experience...

Honestly, I spent an hour going through their intro sales pitch, with them asking me several times…read moreto provide my SSN and Background Check information. We went over my lifestyle, my desires, and what I'm hoping for. Then they asked me again to fill out the Background check and credit check information, but I insisted on an honest statement of cost. Reluctantly, they told me a minimum if $575 down to start the program and at least $100/ month for their bare minimum access and services. I hate to imagine the cost of their full service deal. I passed. While it's sold to you as "an investment in yourself and your love life" that's quite a high price to pay for this service. I do understand they have overhead to pay: employees, rent, and online media security, but for the casual working American, it's a bit steep.

After receiving multiple phone calls from Chicagoland Singles, I decided to go in and find out what…read moreit was all about. I tried to get a price range over the phone, but nothing would be divulged. That should have been my first clue, but I went in anyway. I had to fill out paperwork where was also asked my SSN, which I was informed was for background checks. I fell for it. Next I met Tracy. Tracy was informative, chatty and I easily fell into sharing past stories of dating and they have hopes of finding Mr. Right. After much conversa tion, the price negotiating began. They start out high, propose 3 different programs and have you wanting the most expensive program as it offers the most. Next they look into where they can reduce the price. They bring it down where you almost think you are getting a deal. I tried to cancel but missed he fine print that I needed a certified letter sent. I called them several times and emailed but they did not call me back until after the deadline. 4 months later not e date. The pool they have to choose from is very limited. I am guessing they are having trouble recruiting. Went to an event and it was all women. I am now paying $29.00 a month so I can use their website. RUN, don't walk, away from Chicagoland Singles. A waste of money and false promises.

See for yourself: Leslie 7/18/16 to me I see you've reached out to one of my colleagues discussing our pricing structure, etc.. This is cause for dismissal. Too bad. I had a good match for you. Good luck. Jeff 7/18/16 to Leslie Leslie, I did not reach out to discuss your pricing structure at all. It was a conversation with someone who I had no idea even knew you and I didn't mention the name of your company. Really, it's fine though because you never paid attention to what I was looking for from the beginning. I kept my mouth shut about my disappointment with your service for the last 4 years.
