Grocery shopping in France is slightly different. There are some items that you can only find at one chain vs. another. Intermarche is my go to for several items. I typically go to Intermarche for parmesan cheese without rennet, international products (Asian, British, American), liquor (lower priced), and some baking items that I can't find anywhere else.
The store was renovated over the last year and the layout is way better. The produce area is easier to navigate, as are the aisles.
Checkout is generally easy and well staffed. You can also have keys made. I try to shop here when I am in Boulogne-sur-Gesse. Parking is also a breeze with a large lot and spots close to the store.
Their bonus program is not as good as some others so I don't shop here as often as other stores that are in my rotation, like SuperU or LeClerc.
