An excellent car park, adequate filling station and good car wash facilities go towards making this the only shopping stop you need in this small town, and is if that weren't enough, the recently opened cafeteria offers great value lunches at just 9EUR (at time of writing - Nov 2008).
Intermarché's pricing means that it beats competitors on branded goods. However, some of its own brands are not quite up to the mark. Others, however, do meet the quality standards of their branded competitors.
There is a very good butchery, complemented by good cheese and delicatessen counters.
In Valence there are also Lidl and Casino supermarkets. If you could only go to one of these three, it would be Intermarché.
