We rented one of their listed apts in Nice for a week during our April 2013 vacation in southern France, and the experience was nearly perfect. The 1BR apt was clean and beautiful and less expensive than a comparable hotel suite would have been. The description and pictures on their website were accurate and we encountered no problems. We had a few questions, which their rep responded to promptly by phone. My wife did have a few minor maintenance issues with the place, which I now don't remember because they were not critically important. We would definitely use their services again. The quality was there and their screening process ensures a nice, well-equipped place to stay. I am frankly surprised by the dispute with Michael M. My wife's boss used their services on a family vacation and also had a good experience, which is why she recommended them to us. BTW, their complimentary paperback guide book to Nice and the French Riviera was excellent and contained useful comments about the area's attractions, restaurants, and transportation alternatives.

AVOID! I recently…read morestayed in a Nice Pebbles apartment and it was a pretty terrible experience overall. I imagine if everything goes well then they are OK but when things go wrong the customer service is horrible. I stayed in an apartment that had faulty air con, no smoke alarm and the fire escape didn't open. They moved us to a different apartment after 2 days but when I asked for compensation for the inconvenience and my phone bill to sort out the mess I spoke with the Managing Director - she was unreasonably rude! Needless to say I will be avoiding using them when I got back to Nice. I only wish I had read the first couple of reviews here and I would have avoided them altogether.
