I had quality classes and great professors. I learned so much about the field I work in now. The university has so many amenities. Nap pods, computer lab access, gym access, library access, and so much more. There was also a lot of opportunities to get involved with organizations, clubs, etc. being involved enhanced my undergraduate experience. Parking was terrible and passes were pricey.

Even though it was "strange," it was actually pretty good. On the other hand, the Master's in Screenwriting was just awful. It was a terrible experience, with bad and unprepared professors, an all-white faculty with zero diversity, and a department chair (Mr. Jared Rappaport) who seemed completely lost and had no idea what he was doing. The entire body of professors was terrible--aggressions and lies everywhere. I had two classes that were repetitions of courses I had already taken as an undergraduate, even with the same professors. Additionally, during my thesis examination, one of the three professors who were supposed to give me feedback did not read my script. As a result, I only received two sets of feedback instead of three. Beyond that, my experience with the credentialing program at CSUN, under the Michael Eisner School, was equally disappointing. The lack of commitment, disorganization, and unprofessional behavior throughout the process was unacceptable. Communication was poor, requirements shifted without clear guidance, and there was little accountability. It is a terrible place to pursue studies if you expect seriousness, professionalism, or institutional support. In summary, I paid for a Master's degree that honestly taught me very little. I learned far more in the screenwriting courses I took at Los Angeles Valley College than in the CSUN Master's program. And if you are thinking about "networking," forget it. The network you can get from that institution is honestly BS. I do not recommend that program. Look for a more serious institution if you want to learn and feel genuinely appreciated. Do not pursue the Master's in Screenwriting at CSUN.

There are multiple campuses based on your child's age and of course grade. This year as we were in quarantine due to covid I was really impressed with how well the teachers were able to accommodate our students and meet them where they were at via online zoom and classroom sessions. I commend The entire staff and the great leadership at the North campus during this difficult time. Our family looks forward to returning for many years to come and watching our child grow in Christ.

She was my daughter's kindergarten teacher and she was absolutely horrible. Simply put, she should not educate children. She was lazy, and unapproachable. My children attended this school for 2 years, it is not worth the money and the retired principal Mrs. Jones AKA Lucifer Jones was worst than Ms. Thomas! I believe in providing feedback both positive and constructive, but it has been weighing on my heart to share my experiences with this school as a mom of 2 black children. I am so grateful to have found an awesome private school because I now know what's it's like to pay for mistreatment which is exactly how I felt at "HATEARAGE" Christian School!

Each of their experiences has been different, but one thing has stayed consistent: their confidence has grown and they've learned how to advocate for themselves. I remember when my oldest started as a freshman. He was nervous and trying to figure out where he fit in. He's part of the LGBTQ community, and as a mom you hope your child will be accepted for who they are. At VAAS, he was. The diversity here is real, and you can feel it every day. He joined the dance team, got involved in theater, and eventually became president of several clubs. Watching him grow into a confident leader showed me how much this school was helping him develop as a person, not just as a student. My other two children were excited to attend after seeing his experience, and I've watched the same kind of growth happen with them. They all have different personalities and interests, but they've each learned to speak up for themselves and take ownership of their future. As a parent, that means everything. What makes VAAS special is the smaller environment and the relationships with teachers and staff. Students are known by name, and the teachers genuinely care. I've had teachers reach out not just about concerns, but to share progress and ideas for growth. It shows they're truly invested. Both of my children who graduated from VAAS have now graduated from college, one from UC Irvine and the other from the University of Hawaii, and my youngest has already been accepted into college. That tells me VAAS really prepared them for what came next. One of my favorite experiences as a parent has been Digital Portfolio Night, where students present their own work and reflect on their growth. Seeing that confidence firsthand is something special. VAAS is more than just a school. It's a supportive community that prepares students for life after high school, and I would absolutely recommend it to other families.

There are also many opportunities for fun events to meet other parents. I really can't say enough good things about this daycare. It's clean, they provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and it's affordable. The activities are engaging and I really appreciate the practical life skills being taught.
