I highly recommend Ron and InteleGates. Customer service A+. Ron is honest and does not try to upsell. He was punctual and knowledgeable and gave me a good understanding of what was needed to fix my gate opener and why. I would definitely do business with this company again. read more

My wife was autocalled from this company after I was getting quotes for a fence repair. I never inquired about this company, I have NO idea how they scraped her number. When I called their number, I was greeted by an AI Sloperator pretending to be a human. They even mixed in background noise to sound like an office. Me: "Umm, do you service Sierra Madre?" Sloperator: "Yes, we service Sierra Madre. What city is that in?" Hard pass. If you're going to scrape my wife's number when I'm inquiring from other companies, and use AI slop instead of hiring real human beings, I am NOT interested in any kind of service they provide. read more

Friendly, gave great honest advice, and was available for a phone consultation right away! Ron from Intelegates helped us out with a same day visit about alignment issues we were having with our gate. Ron simply and plainly communicated his evaluation of our situation with a straightforward explanation of our gate issues, and then he quickly helped us get on the right track. Would recommend giving Intelegates a call for all your gate needs! Thanks Ron! read more

I called Intelegates looking to get a quote for a new intercom system for my building. After speaking to Ron, rather than just trying to sell me on a system that I may not need at this time he made some really helpful and intelligent suggestions that may allow me to keep the system I have and save some money. This was a kind gesture that although does not result in him getting paid today by me, will definitely go to show other potential clients how honest and great this company is. It is hard to find honest businesses these days and Intelegates is one of the select few who would earn my business time and time again. Thank you Ron! read more

Number one gate automation company in Los Angeles metropolitan highly recommended to all my friends and family

Had my swinging gate snap at the previous weld spot due to improper installation and Ron came to the rescue. Highly personable and proud of his work. He came the next day to fix it and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. read more

Let me start off by saying that Ron is a very honest guy. I called him because my gate door wasn't closing well and the motor needed some adjustment/service. Well he came out the very same day I called him. He was very honest (he showed me what was wrong) and he was very quick in fixing the problem. I will definitely call him again in the future. Don't hesitate on calling this guy, he is the real deal. read more

Professional, prompt, excellent value. Best out there. Have used a number of other electric gate repair companies in the past only to feel extraordinarily ripped off. Intelegates is different. Will use again. read more

Ron is the best service person for gates. He gave an honest quote and went right to work.

Quick response. Knowledgeable. The owner went above and beyond what was asked. I highly recommend.

Oops...looks like I forgot to finish editing my review from a year ago. Ron installed my automatic gate a year ago, he offered best price and did an AMAZING job! He worked hours non-stop and cleaned up everything after. showed me how to operate the gate after the installation and said: if anything happens, I'm here for you... Like he promised, when I called him about the gate being stuck open, he showed up in the afternoon, it turned out the sensor was out of alignment, he adjusted the sensor, examed the gate, gave suggestions and connected my car homelink with the gate, no fee no charge on such a hot day, thank you Ron. If you are looking for a professional to automate your gate, give this guy a call! Amazing, amazing, amazing service! read more

Ron is trustable and genuine. I had an issue with my gate which was serviced incorrectly by another gate company. He knew the system and fixed our issue quickly. His rate was very reasonable. The system I have is very specialized and is easy to become misaligned. One week after the gate was working improperly and the next day he came out and made the adjustment at no cost. It is working perfectly again. I am extremely satisfied with the results. This company is highly recommended. read more

Ron's installation of the Craftsman'sGate Operator was flawless, he is professional, organized, knowledgeable, informative and on time. Ron is professionalism personified. He came out to assess the job. Was not the least bit pushy. Informed me of what was needed to execute my ask. Presented different options for me to choose from and supplied estimates in a timely manner. When it came to Doing the work he was flexible in scheduling and did a marvelous job installing my gate opener. Ron made it a point to follow up with me to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and service experience. True professional who stands behind his work. I could not have asked for a smoother process in getting my automatic gate opener installed. Thank you Ron! read more

I called Ron at InteleGates after a problem in my wiring shorted the circuit board in my LiftMaster gate opener. He was able to come by to diagnose the problem the same day. He carefully explained what had happened so that I was assured that what he recommended was the right solution. He ordered the part right away and came back to install it the next day. He took time and adjusted my gate so that it seemed to work better than before! I hope not to have problems with my gate in the future, but if I did, I would certainly call Ron. read more

Intelegates was fairly priced and didn't try charging me for every little thing. They showed up on time and got the job done quickly. My gate has been working for a while now and I liked Ron so much I recommend him to a friend who was also very satisfied. 2 thumbs up and if I ever move I'm sure I'll hire Ron again for my next gate. read more

Ron did a great job installing our gate opener. He did it up to my husband's standards which is no easy feat. Then he returned a week later to connect the home link in my car and make some adjustments where the chain was rubbing. This is definitely one of the smoothest projects we've had done in last few years. Thank you! read more

We needed some repairs on our gate as the high winds damaged the bracket to the motor. I called Ron at Intelegates as he was the one who installed the motor originally a little over a year ago. He came over the next morning, did repairs, and made the gate new and improved. It works great again and we're happy with the job. He came masked, he left everything clean, he explained everything he did, and he was off. Excellent customer service in a time where that's hard to find. Great communication and an overall great experience. I would highly recommend Intelegates. read more

Ron came down to fix my eagle gate. He came within the hour, even ran back to get his tool. He's an expert in all things electric gate and remotes. Very friendly and a pleasure to work with. He fixed my gates programming, got it running smooth, programmed both my cars and remotes, which was impossible on a newer car that I have. He even saved me money by having me return an expensive eagle receiver I bought off Amazon. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommended!! read more

Fast service! Professional! Very knowledgeable! I called a few places for an estimate on a garage door opener for my house, then called Intelegates and he gave me a great deal. Scheduling was fast and he was very flexible with me, because of my work schedule. The technician showed up on time, answered my questions and installation was done professionally. He also programmed my homelink/car remote. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and anyone reading this review. read more

Couldn't be more happy with InteleGates' immediate service and understanding of our issue. As an HOA we had been working with a different security gate company for many years. On this occasion that company offered a 2 hour window the next day only to come and fix the issue and when I said the our contact person was unavailable at that time they stated we would have to then wait 2 more days ... leaving our garage area practically unusable as tenants would have had to physically push the heavy gate open and closed every time they drove their cars in and out. Not to mention the beeping alarm that would have kept the neighborhood awake overnight. InteleGates to the rescue! Ron happily drove from the other side of Los Angeles to come fix the gate that same afternoon. The price was much cheaper for an emergency visit than our previous company - and Ron fixed everything with a laugh and a smile. He even helped explain how to mitigate the issue myself if it were to happen again. 10/10 service read more

Ron, the owner, was very nice and professional. We have an existing automatic gate that needed servicing and he added a motion sensor/eye. He was fast, courteous, and thorough. He called back within 10 minutes of getting our first call and showed up ready to work in a true working truck with markings on it. His picture on this site helped us choose him because it helped us see who he was and know that was serious about the work. Thanks, Ron, for being a good professional tradesman. read more

I found Intelegates on yelp and received quotes from multiple electric gate companies. Ron from Intelegates gave me the best price and I felt confident with his recommendations. I am so happy with my new electronic gate. I have been wanting to get one installed since I bought my house in 2015 and wow what a difference. It looks great, I feel more secure and have easier access into my property. Thank you Intelegates I appreciate your professionalism, competitive pricing and timely install. I will definitely refer you to my friends. read more

Gate is fixed! Called this morning, Ron called back right away. He said he'd be here at 2:20 -- he was here at 2:20, and he texted me to let me know that he was on his way. He looked at our gate motor, let me know it was old, but instead of upselling me for a replacement, he fixed it and told me what to expect if a replacement was needed. I now know more about our electric gate motor than I anticipated - lol. This entire enterprise took about 30 minutes, and I feel that he priced his service fairly. Ron is committed to doing a great job, and he did! I would definitely give him a call to have him help you out with your electric gate and give you a proper education on your particular situation. Thank you Ron! I am sure I will have to call you sometime in the future, but let's hope this old thing lasts a while longer. read more

Ron has great service. I called him yesterday, and he came out this morning right on time. He called on the way to say he is enroute. I needed him to diagnose and repair my entrance gate. It would buzz, but would not open. I stood by him the whole time. I could see he is very experienced in this type of work. He tried several fixes, and eventually found the problem. It is now working. Great service, and reasonable price. He is our new gate repair company. No reason to look elsewhere. Give him a call! read more

They are the absolute best! We had two other companies come. The second said the circuit board need to be replaced. They then called us back to say the board was no longer available and the entire system needed replacement for 12,000 dollars. I found the circuit board for sale for 300 dollars! I found this company on recommendation from the gate manufacturer. They were absolutely wonderful. They came quickly and were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They found the problem was in the hydraulic system and fixed it on the spot. No new parts were need. Do not go to people who look to sell you new gates. These are absolutely the go to people to get your system repaired! I give the an A++++rating! read more

After another gate company failed 3 times to return a phone call to schedule repair to my gate, Ron was quick to reply and came out same day to repair. What great service and professional conduct at a great price . I recommend Ron and Intelegates for all your gate needs. read more

Ron was great. He came out and completely reviewed my driveway gate. He very quickly discovered the original installer failed to connect my sensors to prevent the gate from hitting my car or people walking through. He also noticed they failed to sufficiently lubricate the joints and that the joints didn't have enough space from the gate itself, causing the joints to collide with the gate. He did that all within an hour and explained it to me in a very understandable way for a very good price. Outstanding! read more

Ron is the Zorro of gate technicians. I was having a problem with my automatic gate opener's that I absolutely could not figure out and no one else could either. He arrived on time diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes and after less than an hour the gate was working perfectly. His rates are reasonable and he told me I could call him if I had any further trouble. If you need repair or installation he's the guy. Look no further. read more

Thank you, Ron! I had 2 other people take a look at our electric gate and tell me that there was nothing that could be done about it--that it had to be replaced. Not only that, they wouldn't send estimates that I requested unless I repeatedly called for them. So, I delayed for months and decided to search one more time for someone else and hoped for at least a better price if it indeed needed to be replaced. Thankfully, I found Intelegates. Friendly, responsive, timely from the first phone call to a service call the next day! Ron is not only a problem solver but is considerate and fairly priced. He's the kind of guy who is going to work on it as if it's his own investment vs treat your equipment like it's easier to be thrown in the trash--what a waste of resources and money that would've been had I actually listened to the others. In addition, Ron reprogrammed our car remotes in a fraction of the time (with 0 frustration) it would've taken had we done it ourselves. Highly recommend! read more
