The owner is so sweet and encourages you to stay as long as you like, invites you to walk the lovely property and loaf about as one would after a very laid back tea. We decided to try English Breakfast and a Paris tea and they brought them out together which was nice cuz hubs could compare (not a tea guy). The devonshire cream was luscious, strawberry jam was delightful and plentiful, scones and tea sandwiches were very nice as were the selection of sweets. The house is positively charming, decorated so cosy and nice and it's the owners family farm. We even bought some honey they harvest on property. Overall, this was a delightful afternoon and I'd highly recommend it for a comforting, laid back tea. Thanks for having us.

It was the most affordable compared to other venues, most beautiful, and we have the luxury of staying the weekend and relaxing with our family! The house is amazing, and the soy crops outside mixed with the trees really sold it for us. Not only did we love the venue, but we also felt warm and welcomed by Annmarie. Since the moment we booked she has been a great communicator and we feel like she is really listening to our needs. Not the "corporate" feel if you will. We also did our save the dates at the venue with their photographer! They turned out AMAZING! It was so fun and taking pictures with the horses really made them feel so much more magical. It's so much less stress than I imagined because they are SO helpful! I am so excited about our wedding and could not recommend this venue enough!

Our room was nicely appointed and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size with good water pressure. They do not cook a full breakfast in the mornings but there were bagles cream, cheese, other pastries, coffee, tea, and juice for us in the morning. We never ran into the owner until just before leaving on the second day, but felt at home the whole time. We will definitly be back again the next time we are in the area, it is definitley a home away from home kind of place and was a great value for quality of accomodations. The only downfall is that it is cash or check only...no cc travel points for me on this stay.

Let me start off with saying that the cabin I stayed in (The Weekend Getaway) was extremely nice…read moreand very cozy. This one bedroom cabin looks and feels a lot bigger than it actually is with its high vaulted ceilings and wide open floor plan. If you have a family of four it would be more than enough room. I wouldn't suggest it for 2 couples unless you are ok with sleeping on a pullout sofa, but a girls/guys weekend or longer should workout fine. If I am in the area again I will stay in one of the cabins on the property and I definitely don't have a problem recommending this place to anyone. So a few things I wasn't aware of previous to arrival and didn't see it in the listing either (maybe I over looked it ‍). Guests are responsible for stripping the bed(s) and putting sheets in hamper along with towels (ok no big deal). Also, empty trash and take it out. Load and turn on dishwasher before leaving. This is all on a note on the fridge. If you read the binder it also mentions wiping the counters and something with the hot tub(I decided not to use). I wondered why I payed a cleaning fee if I was to leave the cabin nearly clean before leaving? The hot tub looked enticing however when I lifted the cover my eyes nearly burned out the socket from the amount of chemicals used.
