From day one David and his crew members showed up bright and early and got to work. And it was obvious and clear he has a passion for his craft and takes pride in his work. At the end of each day, he had cleaned up after himself and throughout the entire process he was meticulously tidy. Our Contruction needs included enclosing a covered patio to make a fourth bedroom. What sounds easy enough was actually an arduous task --the slab needed to be brought up about 3 inches, one of the exterior walls had an existing gate entrance and latticed brick work, there was an outflow pipe from the water heater on the other wall, and probably other annoying elements I'm forgetting. David took those tasks head on and with stride. In the process, he discovered the birdbox that hung over one of the exterior walls had taken on a lot of water damage. He rebuilt it and came up with a solution to prevent such excessive water damage in the future. He was not going to leave a problem he uncovered unaddressed, which is truly an admiral and much needed quality in more contractors and handy-doers. Our job also included knocking down a wall to make the entranceway more open, putting in a proper coat closet, closing off a doorway, and relocating the backdoor (basically, rerouting the strange layout of our home to make it work for our family). Ellen, the office manager, was accessible and receptive to any questions or concerns. She took my statement, "I don't even want to have to sweep up after y'all" to heart and would often tell me to let her do the sweeping. At the end of the project she sent my daughter a thoughtful "room warming" gift, which was truly a personable touch. Their bid was the most competitive and I don't feel that I sacrificed quality work in the least bit. If anything, I feel confident in saying we couldn't have found anyone better for the job. When the job fell behind schedule for reasons beyond their control, David and Ellen stayed late one night painting and ensuring the bedroom was ready to be moved in to "on target" and as promised. I cannot say enough about my experience with Buckshot and hope they go far in their business endeavor. We all need or know someone who needs an honest, reliable, and trustworthy contractor and the industry needs more David Bieluts.

I knew this was going south so I started recording our conversation. he knew about the drugs, he admitted to hiring illegal immigrants, he admitted to hiring addicts, he admitted to hiring day labor guys and even said one of them left the drugs. Trash is everywhere. They didn't secure my roof and let it rain. by the time they fixed it my attic was flooded and my ceiling collapsed. My brand new roof has spray foam coming out of the cracks and is all over the place. One side of my house is missing a couple lines of screws and the just rattles in the wind. I left the review on their facebook page. Go look at the damage they caused my house. I think and it's my belief that I was scammed. if he will take advantage of a disabled veteran waiting on heart surgery he will do you wrong too. The day they left they left the dormers open and it was raining. They didn't care. kaden (guy in charge that day) told me he was being evicted and asked me for money. Said he would come back next week. no joke. I called the authorities. Monday I'll be calling ICE to turn in the recordings. IRS be notified. I will be talking to Louisiana contractors and reporting him. Do not trust these guys.

I had popcorn ceilings removed throughout the house, as well light fixtures replaced or added in most rooms. Overall, I was pleased with most of the electrical work. However, one of my fan switches stopped working within a month of being installed. I also had outdoor fans installed with remotes, but the remotes were nowhere to be found at the completion of the renovation. Therefore I now have outdoor fans that are unusable. I would not recommend this business for popcorn ceiling removal. My ceilings were sanded unevenly. They look fine from a distance, but in bright light it is evident that they are patchy and uneven. My guest bathroom ceiling has large chunks of paint falling off of it. I would have been fine with the issues with my renovation if they had been fixed by this business. However, I have currently been told by the owner 7 times that he will be by on a certain day to fix the items, and each of those 7 times he has not shown up, nor messaged to let me know he was not going to show up. I have attached a picture of my bathroom ceilings to show their current condition.
