I first had an estimate from a company that sent a salesperson out to sell me a humongous headache, a large bill, potential and warning of a much larger bill. The plan was to UNNECESSARILY cut out drywall ceilings, leaving those to be repaired by someone else I would have to search for. That other business thankfully raised huge red flags, and I knew I needed a second opinion. When I noticed a musty smell, I contacted three other companies for opinions and solutions, All gave me different information and a wide range of prices. When I told a realtor my frustrations, she recommended Dry Effects. When the inspector came out, I immediately felt confident with his knowledge and experience. The Dry Effects estimate was also more reasonable than the others. Dry Effects sent out two crews. The first one to remediate wetness/mold in the walls and another to install a drain connected to my sump pump. They also provided a guarantee for their work.
