Fortunately for us, the owner of the company Steve happened to be in our area the next day responding to another call and stopped by. I have to admit, I have been leery about any contractor after getting burned BIG TIME by not one, but 2 crooks on a barn I had built in the past few years. After reading some previous reviews I decided to give Empire a chance and they did not disappoint. Not only was Steve a pleasure to do business with but all of the work was completed in a timely manner and some ahead of schedule. How refreshing to have someone say the work will be done at this time and actually have that be the case, and all the work was done better than expected. If you ever have need of a rooking/siding contractor, including metal buildings like my outbuildings were, look no further. Less than 6 weeks after the incident everything is done and done perfectly. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE EMPIRE RESTORATION CREW!!

I have waited almost a year to write this review to try to get my facts correct my frustrations…read moreresolved. I hired Inman Prowash to powerwash, and paint my deck for $2800. when rotten boards were discovered Mike charged another $400 to replace about 20 feet of the deck. Joey, was doing the painting and repair work and when he was unable to match the color of the deck paint, which was Lowe's paint not Sherwin Williams, he asked if I had any of the original. There was about a half gallon left. He then used the poor quality paint to touch up, not paint the full deck. When the poor quality paint began to crack again 6 months later, Mike sent Joey back. He could not find a record of the paint he put on my deck at Sherwin Williams because he had not purchased it there. My husband and I tried to match it with the Lowe's paint at Home Depot and purchased thick deck paint. Joey painted the worst peeling planks and realized the colors didn't match. I had a stripped deck. When Joey first looked at the deck he said it needed power washing when he thought Mike was charging me, but when Mike told him to touch it up, he just scraped the bird poop off and moved on. I expressed my frustration to Mike who politely and dismissive. I gave up. My 82 year old husband spent an hour early every morning, before it got hot and his energy gave out, painting the deck. I like Mike, but I am so disappointed in how he handled this job. I'm sure the power washing is fine but would not recommend them for repairs.

I'm sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions…read more During a roofing project at my home using Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting, Georgetown, KY, multiple items were damaged. This included my new composite deck after furniture was dragged across it, a chipped exterior window frame, water intrusion after the roof was removed approximately three hours after rain, a brick knocked loose from the exterior, and several dented gutters. The gutters were replaced and the brick was glued back in place. However, the remaining damage totaled over $3,000 and was not repaired. When I requested repairs, I was told the company could only afford a $250 reimbursement. After I sent a written request asking that the matter be reviewed through their insurance--since the repairs could not be afforded and to seek a fair resolution for the deck damage--I received a letter from their attorney stating that a lien could be placed on my property and that the damages were considered "consequential to the work," citing language in the contract's fine print. I'm posting this to document my personal experience so homeowners understand how damage issues may be handled if they arise during projects with this company.
