And harder when you are looking for a decent price. Yelp was to the rescue trying to find one. Zavala's has great ratings that helped us pick it. Paul was the barber. He was very friendly and helped my husband feel more confident. My husband doesn't have anything fancy-no wash or style-just cut the hair so it lays nice. He had his hair cut once by someone who could really only do modern cuts and wasn't happy. Paul has the skills to do both traditional cuts as well as modern razor styles. We would definitely go back to Zavala's Barber Shop and recommend Paul. Thanks to Paul and the Yelp reviewers for leading us to new barber!

There were three barbers and we waited for over 45 min to get a haircut. We were greeted by the Hispanic guy, about 200 pounds guy with glasses. My boyfriend asked for a buzz cut, POLITELY. The guy then asked him" what is that?" Then my boyfriend told him that it's like a number one. And he responded, " well you should've said that". That guy charged him 40$ for a 10 min cut. My boyfriend didn't tell me this until after wards but the barber was pressing his clipper on my bfs head. His head is all red from that. He obviously hates his job.
