I could probably go on and on about what I love about this place!! I came across Columbia River Chiropractic by accident, read the reviews, and I am so glad I did! I originally sought treatment due to a mysterious dizziness I have had for over a year. In my first visit to Dr. Kyle about 3 months ago, I had minimal range of motion in my neck with trigger points in multiple muscle groups. He also discovered I was losing the curvature in my neck which NOT GOOD!! Since being treated I now have so much range of motion it almost doesn't feel normal at times because I didn't realize how tight all my neck muscles were until I began treatment. What I love about this clinic is their approach to treatment. It is not a "choose what hurts most and we will fix that today" type of a place. Dr. Kyle treats the whole-body head to toe EVERY VISIT and after that, Marcy comes in for even more treatment that does focus on the area of pain that day which ranges from massage, laser treatment to cupping. They also give their patients exercises to do at home to make the most of their treatment. Dr. Kyle takes a personal interest in his patients which I appreciate greatly. This is one reason I make the drive from Hermiston. My case has not been an easy one, but Dr. Kyle never makes me feel like an inconvenience or hypochondriac because I am not 100% well yet. Even on the days I walk in feeling frustrated and out of hope of ever feeling (better because we are still working on the dizziness) I always leave with renewed hope which is priceless when you are fighting to get your life back. Walking had become a problem and climbing stairs was almost impossible. Going to the market and shopping was also an unpleasant experience. I received some relief from other alternative health practitioners but it seemed only temporary. Being in my late 70's I considered moving into a senior living facility of some kind. That's when I was referred to Dr. Kyle Bryant of Columbia River Chiropractic. Actually two different friends referred him. Of course I thought "Oh another chiropractor". On my first appointment Dr. Kyle said my hips were rotated and explained in detail how this was causing the muscles in my legs to be so tight and why my knees hurt. He explained what treatment and what exercises he would recommend. He also explained that my kneecap was not moving into place and that was why I felt hesitant to take that first step. Then to my surprise he asked me "What is your goal?" I don't remember any doctor asking me that. Currently I walk around my neighborhood. Have no problem going to the store or market. I am so thankful for Dr. Kyle and the ICE Clinics staff. I've had issues with my right elbow, wrist, and shoulder for a couple of years now and just blamed it on getting old. I figured that this was the way it was going to be from here on out. While salmon fishing this fall, the pain intensified and my left elbow started to hurt as well. I thought that the fish had won. My daughter talked me into going to Dr. Kyle; she said he was an extremities specialist, not just a normal chiropractor. Dr. Kyle does a great job explaining how pain in a certain area is usually a result of an injury or tweak to a different part of the body. He works hard to find the source of the pain. After Dr. Kyle does the adjustments, you then have some physical therapy done; which has been a huge help. I appreciate the "homework" they give me such as exercises and posture resets. After just 2 weeks of treatments, the pain in my left elbow was gone. My right elbow has been a bit more stubborn but is so much better now! FISH ON!! I have been struggling with frozen shoulder and back pain among other issues for about a decade. I heard about Dr Bryant from a massage therapist I was using for tight muscles and pain. I had never been to a chiropractic extremity specialist. After a through skeletal exam - he discovered that I had many problems on the right side of my body, that explained a number of my symptoms. I had vertebras out of alignment in the neck, between the shoulders, mid back and lower back. In addition, my right ankle and right wrist where jammed and my S/I joint was out of place, my pelvis was twisted and my jaw was crooked creating problems with my jaw clicking and locking up at times. Dr Bryant started immediately to realign my spine and joints throughout my body. As a result, I have noticed a reduction of all pain, increased mobility and strength in my joints, back, shoulder and hips. I was referred to Dr. Bryant by a friend. I broke my shoulder 30 years ago. A year ago, I began experiencing pain that started gradually and then quickly worsened where I couldn't sleep or lift anything more than 10 lbs. On my first appt, Dr. Bryant explained why I was in pain, after examining my shoulder, a plan to promote healing and strength and nutrients to help the healing process. After my first adjustment, I felt much relief where I could finally sleep comfortably without being in continual pain! I started to see Dr. Bryant after a physical therapist told me that there was nothing they could do for my frozen shoulder, neck, knee and low back pain and I should see an orthopedic surgeon. My first appointment was a consultation that went over my entire skeletal system and how a problem in one part of the body can cause pain in another part of the body. He shared his findings with me and also a treatment plan. I have seen many different doctors to try to find relief from my chronic pain. Seeing a chiropractor is like having cable TV or a dishwasher. Once you get it, you'll never knew how bad you had it. After jacking up my back on a camping trip, I called for an appointment and was able to be seen that day. Dr. Bryant was able to work his magic in the next few weeks. Now I see him to continue maintenance as well as tend to any tweaks my back, knee, or shoulder needs. Appointments are brief and effective, coupled with simple stretching/exercises as "homework." I am very grateful to Dr. Kyle Bryant for the care i received. I came with a lot of pain , but now i am much better. I feel strong , i can travel and not feel pain on my lower back.
