We'd always filed using a certain form and this particular year they said we didn't need it. Sure enough our large refund has been seriously delayed. We'd even been contacted by the IRS asking if we had planned to file with the same particular form since they didn't receive it this year. I would not recommend this business especially in their tax preparation service. Frankly I would give them a 'F' or '0' rating. Costly mistake we don't intend to repeat again.

The thing that impressed me the most this year was the way they've conducted business during the Covid-19 crisis. They've moved to a new location that makes no contact service possible. They use drop boxes to give and receive paperwork and payment. Just call from their parking lot and they will have it ready, because they're right there behind the window. At 2pm I found the store was dark, and the door locked. I had taken the day off of work to file taxes and this has been scheduled for around a week. Thought to myself-What a complete waste of the day-so I called the owner (number provided on H&R's window) and was told the store was closed for the entire day. There were no warning calls of appointment cancellations. In fact, I had signed up for appointment reminders via text, and had received a text message just earlier today to remind me of my appointment. I will be filing taxes elsewhere for now. :)
