Their is a reason I never ever want to see nurse practioners or physician assistants and this visit with Heather just solidified that. They do not hold MD degrees or have the proper knowledge or training to see patients. I am also switching practices because of this terrible experience and her rude demeanor. I might even dispute it with insurance as I was not supposed to see her.

I am realistic as a patient and understand that not all can be cured, especially neurological impacts. Every doctor or clinic I've ever dealt with has at least a short list of referrals when they can't help directly. This felt less like healthcare and more like "if you're not paying us, we're not interested." Not helpful at all. Would not recommend if you're looking for guidance or support navigating care.

Unfortunately, my experience with the Hinsdale location has been extremely frustrating due to ongoing organizational and scheduling issues. On three separate occasions, I drove more than an hour for a scheduled appointment, only to sit and wait before being informed that the doctor would not be in that day. On two other visits, my appointment was running more than two hours behind schedule, forcing me to leave without being seen. Scheduling by phone is equally problematic. Calls often go unanswered, and messages are rarely returned in a timely manner. When a callback does occur, it can take several days. In addition, there has been an ongoing billing issue involving Medicare that has still not been resolved after five months despite multiple attempts to correct it. While I have confidence in Dr. Khan and appreciate the care provided by Dawn and Trisha, the way this office is managed is unacceptable. The lack of organization, communication, and follow-through has led me to begin exploring other options for my care.

I couldn't be more happy with my experience and results. Dr. Bathla was caring and professional, the acupuncture gave me immediate relief. I pay my co-pay at each visit and even make an extra payment, when I can. They continue to badger me at the front desk about my balance at every visit. I explain that I'm on a plan and make payments and they still hand me an itemized billing statements and request more. This is the only drawback to this office.
