DO NOT do business with Integrated Marine and specifically Dave Sell. The name alone may give you a clue. How in the world he is still a dealer of Quick gyros is truly beyond me. Here's exactly my horrible and regrettable experience on my beloved 61 Viking that he not only botched but dealt in bad faith and never made right. The end result was having to purchase an entire new gyro due to his lack of knowledge of the marine industry and practices in general and naturally boat systems. Just standard stuff for anyone around boats. But he obviously hasn't been. First off he relies on subcontractors to make up for the knowledge he definitely doesn't have. But even they left him. Dunno who he found to stay. Shame on me, but my first red flag should've been his relentless price gouging. What can I say, I really wanted gyro stabilization. I've regretted using him ever since and still dealing with it. I found out later after dealing with Quick (who are great to deal with btw) personally , that he was buying the quick entire gyro package priced as a kit and then parsing out what was supposed to be all included. However he was so concerned with his price gouge that he declined the suggested hardware to keep the gyros cool. Didn't even tell me about it. When they inevitably started overheating and became paper weights hiding in my hull, he tried to gouge me even harder with the air cooling they had ALWAYS needed. I promised me that they could be placed in enclosed spaces and voids without any air cooling. So what do I do then? Of course have to pay additionally on top of already astronomical prices. And he wouldn't make right. That was his underhanded way of completely ripping me off. Then completely ripping me off. Before install and during the feasibility phase, he did an electrical load assessment with someone he found. Power requirements were based off that. When loads weren't working out, I had someone else go through the systems getting taxed and found that his assessment was completely off. WAY off. Did I mention Dave doesn't know his way around boats? Completely a fish out of water. Ask him of his resume if you get a chance so that you can use it against him in the future. He does however know his way around an invoice and sales scams. The next should've been his NEEDING to drive up to the South Bay in Friday traffic to pick up my check in person so he could deposit it that day. He was obviously desperate. Shame on me. I wanted stabilization. On top of that he installed the aft gyro in a wet bilge ensuring me that it would be fine. It wasn't. Now my paperweight was rusting out AND overheating. Who do you think paid for all the corrections? Definitely not Dave. So much money has gone into his botched install and assessment it's mental. read more

Aaron was always professional, communicated seamlessly and was very easy to work with. Aside from a tiny hiccup on the manufacturing side, the entire project went smoothly and I am 100% satisfied with both the quality of the work and the aesthetic/comfort of the flooring added to my boat. I purchased a new boat last year and let me start with I wanted to have some upgrades done to my boat here in Newport Beach. I have had four different companies out to take a look and upgrade a few things at the time and not one finished, or followed up to make sure it was done. So I finally found Dave over at Intergrated Marine. Wow what a difference! These guys can handle anything they got my sonar and radar dialed in perfectly. My sound system is incredible now with zones and a app to control it. I have them now doing my new Aqua Tech flooring and putting in my logo in it. These guys are incredible. It pains me to give Dave Sell even one star. I purchased Infinity Vinyl from IMS and initially the product and installation seemed great. Two years later, the product began to fail and showed significant fading and wear. Fortunately, I thought, I recalled Dave selling me on the ten year warranty at the time of purchase. The process and communication from that point on were the most disappointing, frustrating, and aggravating that I've experienced with a marine vendor. Dave was stoutly against a warranty claim when I approached him. After multiple phone calls and emails he provided a copy of my invoice and the contact information of the local Infinity rep. He then told me I was on my own to work with Infinity as he "was no longer doing business with them". However, they are still listed on the IMS website to this day. Infinity was terrific - only took a conversation and several pictures for THEM to honor the warranty and they shipped new replacement product to IMS. It took two months to get a response from IMS and finally they pulled my original flooring to use as a template for the new flooring. Two more months go by - during which I left many, many emails and phone messages about the status of my new flooring. I even stopped by their booth at the Newport Intl boat show and left a message for Dave. Several weeks after that, Dave contacted me to let me know the product was ready to install. And he could do it that day - IF I WOULD PAY HIM NEARLY HALF OF THE INITIAL PURCHASE PRICE. This bullying, strategic manipulative tactic was repulsive - yet consistent with Dave Sell's behavior that I had experienced since initiating the warranty claim. I was so sick and tired of trying to deal with Dave Sell that I negotiated with him but still had to pay nearly 1/4 of the initial price for him to put my new flooring on the boat. In addition, I made multiple requests of he and his staff to keep my original flooring and that I wanted it back. Dave Sell has since said that it was destroyed after creating the template - against my (his customer) wishes. BEWARE of any dealing with Dave Sell and IMS. He is an arrogant, obstinate, uncommunicative, manipulative man with no respect for his customers. read more

These guys are top notch! I have had the opportunity to work this IMS a few different times now. They have helped me with interior flooring, and exterior carpeting on a 25' Chris Craft, and gave us a great deal on a Quick Gyro Stabilizer install for a friend of mines 48' Offshore. Dave will not only treat you with respect, but will take the time to make sure you understand exactly what you're getting from him. The vast lineup of products he represents alone is worth a stop into their shop, but knowing that he wont sell you something you don't need, but can answer any question you have truthfully is worth its weight in gold. This company was hired by my boat dealer to install an aftermarket inverter on by brand new boat. The technician took 2 extra weeks to do the installation because a breaker kept flipping off on my shore power. Finally they changed the breaker and I was up and running. Fast forward to about 1.5 years later a different breaker began flipping and I called them for help. It's been more than 2 months since the issue began and they still haven't given me any update. For the first month their owner made 2 excuses for why they weren't helping but 2 weeks ago he said he'd have some come out but I never heard back. I had to resort to going back to the dealer for help and they tell me the inverter was wired so badly they were surprised it didn't break sooner. I've had a TON of electrical issues including all sorts of sensors burning out, the stereo stays on when power switch turned off and the water temp works intermittently. Too soon to know if they are related but will report back. In summary, they did an aweful job with the installation and their customer service is horrible. They set expectation after expectation they failed to meet. They never called with a single update. read more

To be clear, this company did zero work on my boat, nor will them. We didn't make it that far. As a business owner, my time is very valuable. We had a 4:00pm appointment and I didn't get a call until 6:00pm saying, "sorry can't make it". Respecting your potential customers time is respecting your customers. Also, they came in over $1,000 more then the competition on an $1,800 job then started slandering the competition calling them "Chinese". First time I've used IMS on my boat. I have a Yacht Controller that was malfunctioning. I called IMS and talked to Dave Sell. He dropped by my boat, called the manufacturer of the Yacht Controller, diagnosed the problem, took apart the dashboard and repaired the problem. That issue has been an ongoing problem for the 2 years I've owned the boat, Dave repaired it in an hour, and since he isn't a tech, he's the owner of the company, he didn't even want to charge me for his service.
