Working with Dennis and his team was one of the best decisions we made in the home buying process…read more We initially went with another lender and very quickly it proved to be a mistake. Our realtor referred us to Dennis and from the first interaction we knew he was the one we wanted to work with. Being first time home buyers we had a ton of questions and not only were they answered, they were welcomed. In this market, Dennis was able to snag us an unbelievable rate which was crucial for us. After closing, we also got a sweet card and screwdriver kit in the mail which was a nice touch. Dennis' team also followed up with us making sure we received communication about when/where to make our first payment. 10/10 would recommend and will use Dennis and his team in the future.

I recently closed on a mortgage with the Dennis team, and I would recommend them to a friend. What…read moreprompted me to write this review was not the excellent rates or any individual person, though the rates were good and the team is excellent, but rather the overall professionalism of the team. When we were in the process of applying, a team member would reach out to me whenever he or she needed anything, so I was never in the dark about what was going on. Every single team member responded to calls or emails within 15 minutes. There were no surprises at closing, which is great. I had some trouble making the first payment, even though I am pretty tech savvy, and a team member took care of it for me quickly and efficiently.

Christopher Somers allegedly banned me from a neighborhood Facebook group that he is an…read moreadministrator of after I raised concerns about a neighboring pizzeria that, according to city records, appears to have been operating without the required food preparation license and a streetery/sidewalk café license, with seating that's been taking up 3-4 parking spots. And instead of holding the Fishtown BID accountable for not cleaning up their trash (which a business is entitled to do themselves if they have a legal streetery, which this is not because a valid food license is a prerequisite for one), he invited me to a neighborhood cleanup instead. Yes, that's right, he asked me to clean up after a business trashing our neighborhood and charging $42 for pies. This raises a pretty basic question about his judgment and integrity. Why would he silence someone for raising legitimate questions about whether a local business is following the same licensing rules everyone else is expected to follow? These licenses cost money and exist for a reason. If a business is operating without them while other businesses comply, that deserves scrutiny, not censorship. And if Christopher or his team at Keller Williams disagrees with the concept of businesses being required to operate with a license to serve food, they're welcome to explain why. The first thing I'd ask myself if I was looking for a realtor is if they'd give me any reason to suspect they would take shortcuts with paperwork and legal issues. Is this really who you want to trust to find your next dream home for you?

I adored my house and was sad to sell it. Deborah was patient and understanding of the emotional attachment I had with the house. I cant imagine I was an easy client as as buyer as well. It took well over a year to find the house. We saw a lot of houses, but Deborah quickly figured out my style and what I was specifically looking for. She was patient and positive when the right house did not come along right away. Throughout both the selling and buying process Deborah and her staff were very thorough and accessible. Any questions I had were quickly answered. If the opportunity arises to buy another property in Philadelphia, Solo Real Estate will be my realtor again.
