I would NOT recommend this place or Nicole Thompson for any therapy needs!! My initial visit was…read morescheduled for 90min in Oct or Nov (I can't remember) she had a emergency, a death in the family in which my appt had to be reschedule. No problem. Things happen and death is definitely something that can't be controlled. I completely understood. However, they could not schedule me for another whole month away. I already waited about a month for the 1st appt to have to wait another month again plus was out of meds that was needed. When I finally met with her, she seemed ok and some what understanding until we went over my meds list. I explained to her as well filled out the paperwork prior to the visit, all the meds that I have been on that worked for me in the past and did not work for me. I was not interested in trying all these different meds for my Anxiety. I was diagnosed with Generalized anxiety disorder also ADHD. Since I am not new to this (therapy or meds)I wanted to stick with what work for me. It's like she was NOT listening to what I was saying. Instead of prescribing what I asked her for (meds I was recently on and worked) she decided to give me something totally different and one of the meds I was on, she gave me a very low dose, stating she had to start me off low. I explained to her, that did not work for me, however a certain dosage did work. Again, she still would not prescribe that dose. Plus also told her the fact that I have been unable to focus, unable to organize etc. I requested to be put on Adderall since that is what my last therapist was going to start me on before I stopped going to them. She refused to put me on that also. She stated that would be too many controlled meds. Mind you, all these meds are meds I was already on except the Adderall. My anxiety/mood had been all over the place. Let's just say bringing in my New Year (2025) was horrible, a total disaster. Ended up breaking up with my boyfriend of 5yrs ( he kept begging for me to take my meds- well I had none to take because the doctor would not prescribe them)he kept saying you are off your meds. I could tell. My kids was saying the same things to me. I was like a ticking time bomb!! When I was taking my meds and the correct dosage, I was calm and under control. Not on them, I'm like the bride of chucky (lol). Lastly, I was so not focused and could not get focused or organized for anything. No matter how hard I tried. I am always on top of things, cleaning. Managing my finances very well, budgeting etc.. I complained to her of being off balanced, not focused etc. She refused to put me on something, plus I barely sleep. Well I ended up over drawing my bank account, not 1 day, several days. That is so not like me. I emailed her, texted begging her to help me. Help me get focused and back organized. Again she refused. I have more than 1 account. Each time I was over drawn I had to pull money from my other account to get me out the negative. Now $2700 later, I realized Nicole Thompson is not the therapist for me. I met with her today just to express these things to her. With tears in my eyes, I told her all I am saying right now, NOT ONE APOLOGY FROM HER! She just said she was not able to start off providing me with those meds. She had to start off the way she did. REALLY! I thought that was very very insensitive to say the least! I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE OR ADVISE ANYONE TO BE SEEN BY HER!! We deal with enough having these issues we deal with everyday, but to also have a DR who really could careless just makes things harder!! I hope everyone have a great 2025!

My primary care physician had provided some exercises years ago, but they did nothing. Normally, I will have my left knee swell and be very tender for days after walking 18-holes on the golf course. Dr. Segarra and his staff offered a free consultation. We discussed some initial x-rays and started both passive and active therapies. I signed up for a my initial treatment plan and are now 3 weeks into what I see as a dramatic change. I walked 18-holes this past Saturday with no swelling and no tenderness following the round! Although I'm still young at 51, I wanted to deal with this now instead of waiting for more issues as I get older. No shots, no surgery. 100% therapy focusing on strengthening the muscles around my left knee. Very happy with the results to this point and look forward to future visits!

If you go to another facility (not the hospital) and receive the same therapy, you are billed at a lower rate. I was given a form that listed my insurance benefits (which states they verified my insurance) and they wrote I would be paying for my co-pay (not unmet deductible) for each visit. However, I later received the bill which stated I was being billed at the outpatient hospital rate instead of my co-pay, which is nearly three times what my co-pay is. I called and asked to speak with the manager but had to leave a message. It's been at least three weeks and she has not returned my phone call. Additionally, in reading the codes for the "therapy" I received, it appears they "stack" the medical codes for billing purposes. I called the complaint department and spoke with someone who is supposed to be a "patient advocate." But all he could do is regurgitate a boiler plate response. I am still attempting to speak with someone who can discuss these issues without sounding like a parrot.

During the exam, my questions were repeatedly brushed off with promises of later answers. When I returned the next day, the practitioner spoke using technical machine terminology that was never explained to me, completely sidestepping what my specific deficits were or how the proposed therapies would address them. Instead, the focus was entirely on pitching treatment packages costing thousands of dollars. When I asked for my results and treatment plan in writing, communication stopped.
