La Wanda is a welcoming presence in the office and accommodated my appointment needs handily. Mary Claire and her assistant, Isaac, always made me feel comfortable and ensured that I was properly completing my exercises to obtain optimal results. Mary Claire is very knowledgeable and designed a PT program, with a diverse range of activities, that helped strengthen my core. I went into the office suffering from moderate lower back pain as a result of a herniated disc. After completing my therapy sessions I now have a considerable reduction in my pain overall. Mary Claire and her staff have created a very warm and welcoming environment for all of the patients who come in for PT. Mary Clarie is very knowledgeable, so friendly, and has helped me feel less pain in my arm and shoulder. The office manager, La Wanda, is always helpful and friendly, and the PT assistant, Issac, is kind, friendly and helpful with my exercises. Recently, I met a man there who is in PT school, and he fits in so well with everyone else at Intercore PT. He's also been a great help with my shoulder and arm pain. My back had become increasingly aggravated from driving for long periods of time and just sitting at my computer. After only a few sessions I felt relief from the pain I was experiencing from spinal compression caused by both of these unavoidable issues. She not only worked on my back and surrounding muscles to alleviate the immediate problem but also educated me in correct stretching and exercise procedures to continually strengthen areas of weakness. This is my second time seeing Dr. Brandon Antonissen for Chiropractic services at Intecore. I was in a bad car accident a few years ago and my back acts up once in a while. I've seen a few Chiropractors over the years, but his techniques are different than the others. First he spends time talking with you to figure out your triggers and then starts working out the knots that are messing you up. Once he feels like the muscles are more relaxed then he starts doing the thorough adjustments that gets everything back to where it should be. This is not my first experience with physical therapy, but it has been by far the best! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff are excellent. They were able to help me meet my goals within my own parameters. For example, the home exercises I've been given in the past took a very long time to complete, so I always quit. Mary Claire worked with me to prioritize the exercises so I can always manage at least the most effective ones. The staff are diligent to recognize when I am feeling too much pain and need a break, and when I am feeling whiney and need more encouragement. I highly recommend this therapy center. My first impressions were that the parking was easy, the facility was airy, and the people were welcoming. Intecore Physical Therapy (specifically, my therapist Mary Claire Malooly) helped me get my knee mobility back by listening to me, carefully watching my movement, treating the most painful point, and teaching me how to strengthen the surrounding muscles. I had Mary Claire's full attention for the entire session, and she answered my many questions with medical terminology which respected my intelligence. Intecore physical therapy is the best rehab I've ever experienced. I've ripped my Achilles, needed rehab from back injury and most recently had a hip replacement. Intecore is by far, the best care I've ever received. Mary Claire Malooly is an EXCEPTIONAL physical therapist. She recently worked with my 70 year old mom following her total knee replacement allowing her to heal and get back to all activities of daily living (ie bathing, driving, getting dressed, etc) quicker than we thought possible!!
