Kitsap Physical Therapy in East Bremerton helped me with a work related injury involving my left…read moreelbow. I had torn ligaments in it that required surgery for which I had replaced with donor tissue in July 2025. I was impressed with their professionalism and friendly demeanor that made the process to relearn the use of my elbow calm and comfortable. I recently completed my time in their clinic this October with their seal of approval lol. I am now on my way to the next phase of my recovery on getting used to lifting weighted things on my own with current work limitations in place (until possibly December 2025 or later depending on my doctors approval). I can pretty much bend elbow normally as of Oct. 2025 so that's a goal met, and I can pick light weight things up without any major discomfort, but like with anything, it will take time and patience to continue strengthening my elbow before moving on to heavier, more physically demanding things I was able to do before. I want to thank everyone there who helped me out. You all helped provide that extra positive energy in the healing process. I will miss working with you all. I highly recommend to anyone who needs Physical therapy in their life to seek this place out.

Shout out to to Emily and her coworkers and the front desk at the KPT location at Haselwood YMCA…read more The last thing I wanted to do was to move my knee after a complete knee replacement. After my 1st appt I knew I was in good hands. Emily made you feel you were gonna do this and I was going to get better, and I did. She never pushed you it was all about what you were comfortable with and doing your homework. Here I am 6 months later there isn't anything I say no to. The gardening is getting done. I am a member at YMCA so I could exercise before or after my appointment. ,

Towards the end of my time there I had 3 different phone calls to try and reschedule a session to earlier in the day. The front desk told me it wasn't them and probably not the therapist. Eventually the therapist admitted she had them calling. Mind you I had told everyone I work a full time job and cannot come in earlier than my assigned time. Iced frustrating with being interrupted at work. Lastly I had mention 7 months ago that I was owed money since insurance was covering all of it and the clinic owed me money back. I mentioned it a couple of times to no avail. Well 7 months later I finally got the money I was owed. I had been a returning client. Sadly I will most likely not use this location again.

I can highly endorse this studio of physical therapists. His wealth of experience in assessing patient's status and incrementally layering on exercises to get back function, mobility, and recover lost lifestyle is a gift to any patient. He is masterful in terms of reading in and knowledge of the physical therapy field and can reference current research into the effectiveness of specific treatment protocols. I had him for months at a stretch for a torn ACL (knee injury) and a torn meniscus (also knee injury). Simultaneously I was dealing with painful feet (plantar fascitis). He switched between the two overlapping issues and methodically addressed each with appropriate interventions and protocols of movement and care. He is a credit to this Clinic. I've also worked with Johnathan, equally expert, and Jacquie their supervisor is wonderful. The front desk is cheery, efficient, and very positive. Their equipment layout is spacious, and they have multiple rooms, private consulting rooms, bathrooms and a sense of roominess. You cannot go wrong at this place, and you will be healed in a matter of time!

Bodywork by KPT, specifically working with Kara S., has been immensely beneficial to my overall wellness and improved mobility as well as athletic performance. Kara's expertise in anatomy, physical therapy strategies and myofascial release is evident in our sessions. She creates individualized plans to address problem areas such as my recent knee pain during hill descents. Kara's commitment to fitness and mobility is truly inspiring. Kara isn't asking you to do anything she isn't already mastering at the clinic or in the gym. Each session starts with a brief check in on how I'm doing, heat compresses and targeted bodywork. There are guided stretching and exercises to incorporate post-session. We then work on specific exercises for me to build on from previous sessions. When we first met, she did a thorough evaluation of my mobility, balance and coordination. She also filmed me running to address running form. Through our ongoing sessions, I have experienced noticeable improvements in knee strength, which has played a significant role in alleviating pain and enhancing my performance both on the trails and during gym workouts. These positive changes have allowed me to pursue my athletic activities with greater confidence and reduced discomfort. If you are looking to address a specific issue and/or overall performance, I highly recommend Bodywork by KPT!

I enjoyed talking to her about my physical health and…read moreshe always had a nugget of information to share with me every time I brought up something that was bothering me. She taught me plenty about how our pelvic floor works and the importance of mind to muscle connection. I would recommend trying out internal pelvic floor therapy solely for the purpose of learning how your body works when under stress/when relaxed and how to breathe properly when engaging in exercises. I want to add the lady at the front desk is one of the more pleasant folks I've encountered when checking in, in comparison to other businesses. She greets you like she's glad to see you and scheduled me for several dates because she knew it would fill up. It's rare to see this in front desk employees. 5 stars for her too.

If you don't know what a vestibular system is, be grateful. I've gained more in-depth knowledge of mine than I ever wished for--and I never wished for any. But that's life, as a singer once claimed. A major benefit to receiving p.t. for this problem is that I get to work with Kristin Miller. Vestibular Rehabilitation is one of her specialties and she indeed knows her stuff. I began treatment suffering from intense balance issues and some vertigo but thanks to the exercises and stretches she's taught me those balance issues are no longer as intense as they were, and the recovery from those episodes is far quicker. Kristin has a background in gymnastics and she effectively employs it with me. When I get frustrated over not being able to maintain my balance during some of the walking exercises she'll tell me or show me videos how Olympic gymnasts lose their balance during a competition balance beam routine and how they recover it. So at times she's both a physical therapist and my gymnastic coach. She's relentlessly upbeat so I have to be too in her presence since it's infectious. I'm grateful to be working with Kristin; she's made a difference in my life. Two years ago I wasn't able to break out my kettle charcoal grill or my electric smoker because it set off debilitating balance and dizziness episodes something fierce. Not any more. This summer I'll return to full bore backyard grilling and smoking, Who knows? I might even try it on a balance beam.
