What really impressed me though was that today as I was getting ready to move to another state a separate insurance agent tried to take advantage of me by asking me to set up a new account rather than transferring the existing account - the issue being that I would loose my three years of good driving history with allstate and possibly miss out on future discounts. Mr Garofalo explained that this agent would get a better commission on new business than on transferring the account. Mr Garofalo even offered to call the other agent himself to sort the issue out. I was really impressed that even as Im leaving his company he was still looking out for my best interest and was willing to be frank with me so that I could make a wise decision for myself. Im not a frequent reviewer but when someone really goes above and beyond to provide excellent service I think they deserve recognition.
