Upon finally agreeing upon the contract with the dealership, I noticed it was hours past Brians's office hours (on a Saturday). Feeling dejected we couldn't walk out with the car, I emailed him with the expectation of him responding on the following Monday. Within 30 minutes, he got me setup with a new car policy, a rate, and I was able to walk out with the car. A little about my background: I moved to Illinois back in 2010 after accepting a job offer. I came upon Brian after reading good reviews about him. Fast forward to 2020, he's been my agent through my first car purchase, my engagement ring coverage, my dog insurance, my first home purchase, and now my wife's car purchase. You can say he's been at my every major life milestone. A good insurance agent is there for you when you need them the most. I submitted my claim expecting my insurance company to help me through the process. Instead, my claim was denied based on an allegation that my vehicle was being used for work. I strongly disagreed with that determination. My vehicle was being used for personal transportation and commuting, and I provided documentation from my employer confirming that I do not transport clients as part of my job. Despite providing this information and appealing the decision, I have continued to deal with this situation for months. What has been especially frustrating is the amount of time, effort, and stress this process has caused. I expected my insurance company to investigate the circumstances fairly and work with me, rather than leaving me feeling like I had to fight to have my claim properly considered. I have since taken the matter to the Indiana Department of Insurance and am continuing to pursue a resolution. I am sharing my experience because I believe customers deserve to know how their claims may be handled when a dispute arises. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review their policy, ask questions about exclusions, and understand exactly how the company interprets vehicle use before choosing coverage.

I have repeatedly had to call for updates because no one reaches out to keep me informed. After months of dealing with this claim, I am now being told that my claim is being denied because they have been unable to get in contact with their own insured. What is especially frustrating is that no one even contacted me to notify me of this decision. Once again, I had to call them myself just to find out what was happening with my claim. I understand that insurance companies have procedures they must follow, but as the person who was hit by their insured, it is extremely disappointing to be left dealing with the consequences because they cannot get a response from their own policyholder. At the very least, I expected timely communication, transparency, and basic customer service throughout the process. Instead, I have spent months making calls, following up, and trying to get answers on an accident that I did not cause. The lack of communication and overall handling of this claim has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
