Teachers here are not interested in making friends with students (although it does happen) Their only goal is to teach students and make them smarter. Sports are a serious business here. Not only do they care about stimulating the mind, they also are huge believers in motivating and nourishing the body. Spirituality, although I am not a religious person (at all...) it never bothered me while I was here, they teach in a subtle and not in a "in-your-face" type of way. They had a more practical approach to it. They were really demanding, and wouldn't accept anything less than excellence from their students. If someone was falling behind, they did a good job at reaching out and helping out the student in any way needed. Good education, good people, good establishment.

Por un lado estudie aquí toda mi primaria…read morey toda mi preparatoria, e hice amistades que me han durado toda la vida... y por el otro la mayoría de mis maestros fueron irrespetuosos y poco profesionales. Solamente tuve muy pocos maestros que realmente se interesaban por la educación y la superación de los estudiantes, y con ellos estoy eternamente agradecida. Lamentablemente la gran mayoría de los otros profesores, sobre todo en la preparatoria fueron de lo peor. Abusaban de la inocencia de estudiantes, aceptaban regalos a cambio de calificaciones, tenían sus estudiantes favoritos y la directora en esos tiempos era la persona mas corrupta y extremista con la que he lidiado. He escuchado de diferentes personas que ha habido un cambio en la facultad de la escuela, pero que los problemas persisten. En lo personal nunca recomendaría esta institución a nadie por estos problemas. Tuve la buena fortuna de estudiar en otro colegio que afortunadamente me dio una perspectiva diferente y que se enfocaba mas en estudios de ciencia en lugar de religión.

It was a horrible experience Specifically because of the history teacher I got. A crazy blue eyed, brown hair,white woman who thought she could keep kids after class, lock them in her class and verbally abuse them. I reported her immediately after one incident but the school never took action. Not one single meeting with her. Im so thankful I was moved to a better school and im sorry for any kid that went through what I went through. Hope that maniac isnt a teacher anymore. No adult should ever treat teens the way she treated me or be a teacher. This school should do psych tests on their teachers before hiring them.
