I am at the hair salon as I write…read more.. 1* For the location : It is as central as can be. You can come by foot if you live near by, or leave your car in the big parking lot 200 metres from there. Easy peasy lemon squeezy :) Did I get it right? 1* For the salon : the weather is amazing but the heat is a bit overwhelming. The salon has a cool breeze that allows you to breathe and relax. The equipment and furniture is always renewed and that's the best. The chairs are comfy, the towels are soft, the mirrors are huge, what else could you ask for? 1* For the service : coming here is like coming home. People know me and I know them. Suggestions are always welcome but the professional eye will have the final word ! There is no hair pulling, stain on your shirt from the dye, water along your spine from the wash, none of that. You leave as you came in and with a fresher hairstyle :) 1* For the drinks : water, coffee, tea... Name it, they have it ! It makes such a difference really when you can enjoy a pampering session with your favourite drink. If you ask for a smoothie or a Sex on the Beach - I mean the cocktail - then you don't need a hair appointment but a transat on the beach ;) 1* For the experience : I wanted my roots done. Let's face it, my hair grow by the book (1cm per month) and it shows. I love my natural colour - which is what I ask to get done - but when I see a couple of grey hair shining from the mass I cannot help but cringe ! I am asking for natural brunette not natural grandma grey (2 hair wouldn't be enough for that matter :) I am now ready to rock my brunette attitude. Who said brunettes can't have fun ? Extra bonus 1* from the boyfriend : I took him for a manly cut and voila ! The manager of the hair salon took him under his wing, explained what suits his head and face shape, what side to flip his hair as one of his eyebrows is slightly higher than the other one (yes really !)
