Best coworking space in Nassau County!…read more Before joining The BenchSpace, I looked at two other coworking spaces and nearly signed up for another one. I'm glad I didn't! Compared to its competitors like Regus and other local businesses, the BenchSpace has the best customer service and the best offices. It's the only place that does coworking right. The biggest thing for me was that there were no cancellation notice requirements or fees. Rent is month-to-month so you can have a desk to work at for as short or long a period of time as you need. Another thing they do that others don't is offer you a free day. This sold it for me. The other offices would just give you a tour, but you don't really know what you're getting in to. Having a free day allowed me to see that the space was consistently quiet and I wasn't going to be in a nightmare office. Ultimately, I highly recommend this space for anybody who's looking for a short-term solution. It's cheaper than building a home office and it feels nice to have somewhere to go everyday so you're not stuck inside.

The communication was unprofessional, the process was disorganized, and overall it was one of the worst experiences I've had working with an event space. I would recommend getting everything in writing and being extremely careful before making any payments. Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience and not one I would repeat or recommend to others. The owner was horrible to work with and came across very rude in multiple interactions, which made the situation even more frustrating.

They do not have a way to cancel on their website and they do not respond to cancelation requests through their message portal on their website. They never returned my calls. I finally found an email which would respond to my cancellation request, and they denied my cancellation request because it was 90 days or less to cancel this virtual office. It was 55 days before the auto renewal was supposed to start. So they charged us $1,300 and the auto renewal isn't set to start for 3 more weeks. We are a small business and they refuse to do a pro-rated refund or anything for our upcoming year renewal that hasn't even started yet. All for a virtual office space.

I came here for a meeting with a colleague in the middle of the week at around 4 p.m. It was super quiet which is awesome (you'd think with so many offices and different companies in each, there will be much hustle, but that wasn't the case at all). Super nice staff and overall well-appointed space. The bathrooms were clean and maintained, too. I'll be back for sure whenever I'm in the area next!

Every person involved with the rental was courteous and responsive and super laid back. When I wanted to extend the rent it was effortless---a couple of emails with Rudy and I had the room for another two weeks. The rooms are cleaned regularly, and the shared bathroom facilities are generally kept in good condition. The best part of the shared space is how helpful and accommodating the front desk staff are. First Impressions & Atmosphere: From the moment you walk into the building, you're greeted by a stunning, modern lobby that immediately sets a high-end tone for the workday. I've attached several photos of the office space to this review--make sure to check out the awesome views and lighting from our windows; they are a major boost to daily productivity and morale! World-Class Management: The true heart of this location is the staff. The Office Manager, Mohamed, is a total standout and all-star. He is the definition of professionalism and runs an incredibly tight ship. He is always available to answer any questions or tackle concerns the second they pop up. Thanks to his leadership, the office remains: * Spotlessly clean * Highly organized * Seamlessly efficient A Warm & Professional Welcome: I also want to give a special shout-out to Elaine, the receptionist who was here yesterday (February 2nd). She is absolutely phenomenal--bringing a cheerful, infectious energy to our front desk. She is a perfect representation of what professional hospitality should look like. She was at reception at our other Regus office location before we moved office space to this location, and we experienced the same happy-go-lucky energy! The Verdict: Between Mohamed's expert management and Elaine's welcoming presence, this isn't just a "coworking space." They have managed to make this office feel like a family and a second home.
