I was honestly nervous about seeing a chiropractor at first--I've always been hesitant about it--but this team completely changed my perspective. Dr. Dylan has been amazing throughout my recovery journey. He's not only skilled and knowledgeable but also takes the time to explain everything and make sure I'm comfortable. I truly feel like I'm in good hands every time I come in. I also want to give a huge shoutout to massage therapist Courtney--her work has been such a key part of my healing process. She's attentive, intuitive, and just so good at what she does. I'm so grateful for this place and the people in it. Highly recommend to anyone--especially if you're nervous like I was. I saw Dr. Troy Knutson, DC, at this clinic. My first visit went well, and I was satisfied enough at…read morethe time to leave a positive review. Unfortunately, my second visit resulted in a serious and medically documented injury. During that appointment, my lower back was adjusted in a way that immediately led to severe complications. Shortly afterward, I was unable to have bowel movements, and my condition rapidly worsened to the point that I had to go to the ER. I was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with a perforated colon, requiring a week-long hospitalization. After being discharged, I contacted Dr. Knutson directly. He acknowledged the situation and told me he had informed Dr. Alex Twenge, DC, and that corrective care would be provided. Despite those assurances, no meaningful or appropriate follow-up care occurred. I have text message documentation confirming these communications. This experience raised serious concerns for me about the standard of care and the lack of accountability afterward. The physical, emotional, and personal impact has been significant, including time lost with my family that I cannot get back. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options and proceed with extreme caution before seeking treatment here.

In addition to being fully satisfied with the surgeries, I've found him to be a kind, caring, and patient doctor. As far as the way he treats staff, I recall one occasion when some unforeseen emergency had delayed the day's appointments at TCO and he stepped in to take care of removing my stitches so that his nurse (or PA, I forget) could go home. That stuck with me. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon.

It felt like he was just doing a job to get a (big) paycheck. Everything possible was pushed off to assistants. On the day of my surgery I asked him to explain what he was going to do, and he stared at me for several seconds, with a look that said to me "I can't believe you are asking this, it's not worth my time to have to explain it to you...". The jury is still out on how well he did the surgery - my injury feels about the same as it did before the procedure, although perhaps with time it will be better.

I agree with everything Leah O. said in her review about Dr. Aimee Klapach, and indeed, Leah's review is a big part of what led me to Dr. Klapach. Some people might think it's strange to find a doctor on Yelp, but I trust my Yelpers!! Before I went to see Dr. Klapach, I had been seeing doctors at FairView University for the better part of last year. I wish I had gone to see Dr. Klapach right away. I doubt she would have made me wait 8 months and jump through numerous hoops before telling me that surgery was inevitable. I can't ever get those eight months back, but thanks to Dr. Klapach, I am slowly getting back my range of motion, and I believe my pain is already less than it was before surgery, most of the time. I just had the surgery in December (which went great, by the way! They do it in an orthopedic facility, not a hospital, so my Covid fears were lessened), so it has only been a short time, and recovery for rotator cuff surgery is notoriously slow. But Dr. Klapach and her assistant Bradley are with you every step of the way, going above and beyond, to the point where the surgeon will actually pick up a phone and call you. Yes, I just about fell on the floor the first time that happened. Dr. Klapach really cares, and so do her staff. I am also really happy with the physical therapists on site. They do a great job, and are available by phone or email if you have questions about the exercises. Side note: They have recently re-branded to Allina Orthopaedics, but they are still the same great clinic with the same caring staff.

Look, I'm not gonna waste your time with all of my injury details. If you're looking at this page,…read moreyou're probably broken and vulnerable, and you just need to know the facts. Fact: "Expert" doesn't begin to describe Dr. Aimee Klapach, MD. She does 270 knee surgeries a year, a fact I kept repeating to myself when I was having anxiety spin-outs in the weeks before my ACL reconstruction surgery. That depth of experience matters when you're literally trusting someone with your limbs. Fact: She's a super conservative surgeon, bless her heart. She never tells me what I want to hear. She tells me what I need to hear. I don't want a risk-taking, skydiving bro giving me health advice. I want someone who's gonna tell me that "If it were my sister, I wouldn't do it" when I ask if I can fly to a wedding a few weeks after surgery because there's a small chance I could get DVT and die. She obviously didn't love disappointing me. But she takes her job seriously enough to be a firm advocate for my healing and my body, and at the end of the day that's what I need. Fact: Her work is excellent. I'm 9 weeks out from surgery and my knee is healing beautifully. I followed her directions and the result is that nothing has gone wrong: no infections, no mistakes, no risks, no mishaps. Just steady improvements day after day, which is all I can really ask for. Fact: She has an incredible team working with her. They called me the evening after my surgery to check in- which at the time felt like an incredible kindness- and when I have questions they always call me back within a few hours. Her scheduler was wonderful, and made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for surgery. I've always found it easy to book appointments, and Dr. Klapach goes to a variety of locations, making it easy to find a time and place that works with my schedule. I feel so lucky that I landed in her care, and can't recommend her enough.

My mother had problems with her feet for many years and she needed to see a foot doctor asap. One thing is I wanted the best for my mother because she had been through a lot in her life. I worked in a hospital and asked the medical students who was the best foot doctor and they shouted out Dr. Laco was the one they would recommend whole heartedly. I took my mother and after the treatment she stated he was the best foot doctor she went to and she was not prone to exaggeration. A few years later I had a serious infection in my foot after returning from Reserve Duty and I went to Dr. Laco to check it out. He had to do surgery on my foot, (the infection was serious). He told me I had to soak it several times every day until it was healed and it cleared up and never came back again. I go to Doctor Laco to have my nails cut and check out for any diabetic problems because I am coming down with late onset diabetes. Due to another condition I have lymphedema and have to wear decompression socks. I went to see him with a different pair of socks due to the fact that I would be home soon and it is miserable to put those socks on and off. But he informed that I have to put them on first thing when I get out of bed or else eventually my feet and legs would swell up and never go down again which I witnessed with patients in the hospital. I listened and my feet and legs are normal. another time I was having terrible pain in my one foot and Dr. Laco diagnosed planters fasciitis and told me how to correct the issue and it healed. A few months ago a very close friend and her daughter were having foot problems and asked me who I would recommend and I told her. She and her daughter went and he diagnosed it and told them what to do to correct the condition. Everything he said worked out and they are very appreciative of my recommendation. Dr. Laco is an excellent surgeon, foot doctor and diagnostician. I continue to see him, I enjoy talking to him and he has a excellent sense of humor. I would highly recommend him to anyone with foot problems. Joseph Safraniec
