My kiddo needed services from Resolve after being referred by her former therapist. This review is…read morenot a reflection of the other metro locations and solely based on this location alone. We used Resolve from January 2023- up until around late last summer. Location: 5/10 The location is ideal, but can be far for folks that live further south. Sadly, it was inconvenient for us. Telehealth is available, but keep this in mind for evening appointments when are battling rush hour and peak travel times. Availability: 2/10 The LSCW we were paired had limited availability. She booked clients back to back, with little breaks in between. This made it difficult to schedule anything with her. Her latest appointment was 8pm; which worked for us briefly, but it quickly led to her burnout and emotional unavailability to my child. It was also pretty difficult to get ahold of her. Initially, I had to reach out to the front desk/admin to relay a message or schedule an appointment. I finally requested her direct email to reach out, which slightly improved communication. Vibe Check: 2/10 The office itself is nice, but the vibe was way off to me. The decor reminds me of a dentist office in the late 70's, early 80s and smelled like the plastic bib they place over you before starting a cleaning. It just did not feel very welcoming or inviting to me. I always felt awkward being in the waiting room. I know it is not easy having your child go to therapy, but nobody looked happy to be there. It was the ultimate doom and gloom. Nap time: 0/10 During my child's sessions, the therapist would wrap themselves in a blanket and doze off. This was no surprise to me, as she scheduled her last appointment at 8pm. Eventually, she started cutting back her hours to be done around 5, but at that point, burnout had set in and the damage to my kid had been done. This is beyond unprofessional. Improper Termination: 1/10 I really do not think termination was properly done with my kiddo in a way that provided closure. Luckily, we were able to find services with another therapist, but there was just lack of communication and closure at the end of our time with her. Again, this is due to burnout, which is common with therapists that book the way she did. Overall: 2/10 I cannot recommend this Resolve location to anyone I love and care about. I honestly believe there is not great management at this location because I observed burnout and the therapists did not seem happy to be there. There are better options in the city for therapy services for your kiddo. (KC PCIT)

We went to her…read morebecause Blue Valley was unwilling to evaluate our children, and teachers at Blue Valley neither knew nor wanted to know our children. We trusted that Tish Taylor would do a professional, independent evaluation and inform the teachers. However, she wrote the evaluation reports solely based on the information she received from Blue Valley. She neither reviewed our children's records nor went to school to observe them. She even was not allowed to communicate with our children's teachers directly. She only talked to Blue Valley's board attorney on the phone to get information about one of our children, and she only talked to the school principal to get information about the other child. She basically wrote the evaluation reports that Blue Valley wanted her to write. Later on, we asked her to share the raw data she used in our children's evaluation. She refused, and she instead hired a lawyer, who collaborated with Blue Valley to intimidate us and to deter us from trying to obtain the raw data. Similar to the "embedded journalists" who were used by the government to justify the Weapons of Mass Destruction hoax, Tish Taylor is an "embedded psychologist" who is used by Blue Valley to justify its wrongs.
