Moved here from Vegas, so we searched and searched for a Veteran Owned establishment and came across Familia. My Daughter was so nervous about coming in and talking to someone. Lady at front desk was very pleasant to us upon arrival. Then asked what we were looking for, my daughter explained it to her, then she proceeded to go ask a gentleman named Stax. Lady actually took us back to where Stax was working and he was so Amazing and kind to her, took time from what he was doing to speak to her and asked my daughter questions about what she would like. Stax made it so comfortable and easy. Like we were family. This is EXACTLY what we were looking for in a business and for that we will be booking our appointments with Stax! I showed them a pic of exactly what I wanted. The artist went outside of the stencil he created and did not follow what I wanted at all. When I reached out to the artist to have him fix it, I was told that he would not be at the next convention that was closest. I reached out to the shop asking for them to review and help me resolve this. I was told they were traveling and would reach out. I reached out a day later and still nothing. They refuse to give me a refund after I'm having to go to someone else for a cover up. Pictures are of what I asked for vs what I got.

While sitting in the chair we had a great conversation about a few things, and she explained the different needles she was using for the piece. I have also had 2 sessions for 2 big pieces. Not only have I had some work done here but so has my daughter. Be prepared when you want something done, these are artists so most of them have appointments be sure to schedule a session ahead of time. My artist is Big Mike, such a cool dude. He always has good music on during the session and he is super focused on his art. Not to mention he is diligent and fast, plus it helps that he isn't super heavy handed leaving you in agonizing pain. I have had some bad experiences in the pasty and this guy will impress you! Again SCHEDULE ahead of time! You know someone is good if they are always busy. They are very clean and professional and not to mention fun to be around.
