He did an excellent and thorough home inspection, stopping to take extra time throughout his inspection to describe in detail any concerns he came across and to answer any of our questions. After receiving the report, we had a few questions and he quickly responded to our inquiries. I received estimates from 3 of 4 and Walter came in on the higher side. I chose him because of his willingness to help, his knowledge about the process and we just clicked. Even though the weather was not favorable, Walter performed the inspection and did a thorough job. He sent the report, with pictures by late afternoon although he said by Mid-night. I found the report easy to read, well organized and detailed. There were links for many issues which gave more details of the issue and how it can be fixed. He provided the means to find contractors that can address anything that was found. Worth the extra money.

Where do I start... We were told the inspection would be over around 1pm...the inspector was here…read morealmost all day and we had animals so we planned for what we were told. We came home a little after 1pm and he did allow us in our house. We have a lot of snow outside so there were muddy footprints all through the main floor. The inspector said he was sorry and said something like, I'm wearing these little booties but there is still mud. Well, yeah, because he wore the little booties outside and they tracked mud in. I did tell him not to worry about it, then. That night we were turning on lights and he hadn't returned the breaker switches to "on" which was an easy fix but what if it had been an empty house and he forgot to turn the heat back on? I don't know if this is unusual or not but he left both showers turned all the way to cold. Shouldn't he have left our house like he found it?
