On the other side of the concession stand, to the left of the entrance is an open rink (could be used for basketball, hockey or the like), where some very close friends of mine and I played rounds of "pro" dodgeball (in the style of pro-dodgeball) until we got to the tournament round and the best team won! Yes, that was the team I played on, mind you, I had about 4 pretty tough guys playing with the two of us ladies that were on the team. I managed to "dodge,dip, duck, dive & dodge" the ball as the pre-training from the movie "Dodgeball" emphasizes. It was a fun time with a great group of people, if you're so brave as schedule yourselves in there and play dodgeball or anything in a team atmosphere, go for it, its an awesome place.

There's ample parking, a snack shack, and courts to the right and left. When I've attended, pretty much every court is in play -- soccer, hockey, and volleyball. You can register a team for a fee and they organize the match-ups for a season's worth of games (a few months). But be warned that some of their games can be scheduled as late as 11pm.

Restrooms include changing stations and plenty of stalls. Overall, a great location for multiple sports.

However, the stadium is quaint, new, and clean. The absolute best part for me was the shaded seating and ceiling fans. For those sun enthusiasts, there is a tiny section left unshaded. They have a big screen that introduces all the home players, AstroTurf grass, wooden bats, and the stadium is well lit when the sun goes down. The mascot Sal the Salamander is a delight; great with the kids and fun to watch. Concessions are adequate for the size of the clientele and they offer the basics of hot dogs, beer, ice cream, and more. The parking was convenient. The lot was large and a short distance from the stadium. If you are in the mood for smaller crowds and a hometown baseball feel, north main athletic complex is a fantastic choice.

They are great for training or small sided games. Leagues, tournaments and clinics are offered year-round and are especially valuable during the winter months. There are leagues for every skill level including men's, women's, co-ed, over 35, etc. This is also a home for Sports Tots, a parent-child program that introduces toddlers to various sports including soccer, football and basketball. My son and I went through the Soccer Tots program and had a blast! I felt like I was in a Walmart full of sporting goods. I went to purchase a flash sale product. The salesman was not much of a conversationalist but he did the bare minimum to affect the sale. At the checkout, the cashier obviously went to the same customer service class as the first associate. Not much of a conversationalist and not very friendly. Basically a minimalist at her job. Unless you get something on the flash sales, I would say Academy and Sportsman's warehouse have better prices overall.

It's been a great experience. Our daughter hasn't played indoor soccer before and she really enjoyed the coaches, different rules, and format. The coaches really seem to enjoy what they do.
