Tried to contact them to just get questions on how to fill out the required forms, or if they were going to do it, but got no answer from them. I will not use them again for any tax preparations. I understand they are pretty busy during tax year time but this letter from the IRS needed immediate attention from me or my representative, which was Christensen King. Apparently Christensen King doesn't represent you anymore once they got their money.

As soon as things started though things seemed a little off and when I inquired about why things weren't synced properly I was told it would balance but it just takes a little time. I trusted them to take care of it because it is far outside of my skill set. Things never came into focus and soon I was getting no response at all. I cut ties with them and struggled to get things back on track to the point where I had accountants look at it and tell me that NOTHING was done correctly and it would take a lot of work to get it running properly but it would be better to start over. My new CPA also commented on how intensive it would be to fix this mess. I literally had to start over with a new account because untangling this mess was more work than starting over. It's incredibly frustrating and especially trying to apply for the EIDL, PPP, and anything else that it really put me behind. It's very upsetting to know that I paid them every month to do nothing and was lied to my face about it all. I highly highly doubt this is the norm for them. I'm sure they are capable of this work, but my review is just from my experience.

Working with them has been a nightmare since we had a family member pass away. They made things more difficult for us then it needed to be to get information and then made us feel bad about choosing a different financial advising firm. One of their office employees told us they had spent a lot of time working on the account and expressed displeasure over our decision to move the funds because they had essentially wasted their time on us. Not ideal when we are grieving the loss of a family member. I would recommend you to consider moving funds away from them if they currently manage your portfolio and to stay away if you are considering them.
