She's great at explaining to me what's going on every step of the way. I fractured a shoulder and a wrist back in May and she has made this painful and complex process simple and comfortable. Why not 5 stars? The company that handles the X-rays in here is unethnical. They'll send you to collections over the drop of a hat. I had a bill for like $30 that I wasn't aware of....it was about 16 days old and I got a letter from collections about it. They have since apologized and corrected the issue but...Ih have many more X-ray's and CT's in my future, so I won't up the rating until I get through all of those without additional nasty-grams from collections.

Their parking is limited for such a huge building with large staff. That's a definite complaint but not a deal breaker. Most of the staff we've encountered have been ultra helpful, welcoming, and most importantly, knowledgeable. Some appointments have felt very "assembly line," but for the most part, any concerns we've brought up seem to be received well. X-rays are completed each appointment we've had. Equipment and medical room areas always look clean and professional. We especially appreciate their walk in injury clinics. Very convenient. Staff encountered working those special hours have been efficient and patient. We look forward to continuing our care here.

I will not comment on his skills as a surgeon - I'm not a doctor and cannot say, technically. I can say that I cannot walk well, much, or far, and that I am in great pain, constantly, and no longer a patient of his. His practice is not in the business of treating clients except those with impending surguries (duh, he is a surgeon), so unless you're planning non-stop surguries the rest of your life, I'd line up your next Doctor before surgery. And do make sure he'll still accept you if you're not all better, most doctor offices do not treat those in constant pain. I can say that his bulldog of an accounting department was after me for many thousands of dollars above the $$ quoted beforehand, before they in the end gave up and called it even. I can say that I narrowly escaped paying 6 grand for a cat scan, because this same bulldog didn't even attempt to get a pre-auth, but instead sent too-trusting me for a full cash price cat scan. And because my Dr. Wright paperwork from day one as a patient there allowed him to refer me to whatever treatment, and I owe $ for it legally, I came within a hair if owing 6 thousand bucks, due and payable because said bulldog missed making one phone call to pre auth it. Courtview this guy before you let him cripple you. He is currently defending himself in 3 different open cases.

I did not need to complete additional paperwork outside of two pages of Covid questionnaires. Someone came in and waited 15 minutes and was seen as I was here for my appointment on time, and have been waiting almost an hour. My appointment time comes and go.. I had to approach the front desk and ask when I was going to be seen.. 30 minutes past my original appointmen Their office has a bunch of advertisements for different medication to take like they're a marketing office, and seems like they are really big on pushing medication. Patient privacy is lacking. Walls are thin and you can hear providers talking and laughing.

Total turn-around as finally office "got the message/realized" how dismal they were to patients. My specific injury was severe, my surgery didn't go specifically as planned and it was labeled as an emergency surgery. I wasn't given the option to wait due to the possibility of further injury, which looking back, I am grateful that the surgeon decided on this. Living in Kodiak, I had to fly back and forth for all appointments and the staff at Apex was SO helpful with this. The interior of their office is beautiful and welcoming and everyone there was always so warm and nurturing, which meant a lot to me since I was truly nervous and in pain. Unfortunately, I had to spend a lot more time here than I originally expected, but couldn't have asked for a better overall experience based on the staff and the precision of Dr. Miller.
