We ate lunch and had a cold beer from the Old Brewery then attended a tour of the Cutty Sark, which is a huge replica ship from the 1800s. They even had a ferris wheel for the kiddies. Fun time in the market but you definitely need an entire day to get the full effect.

If you manage to weave your way to the edge of the hoards and make it off the main drag, through a discreet doorway and along a corridor with walls displaying a variety of colourful maps, you will find yourself in a small room housing The Future Mapping Company's wares. They produce maps of London, the British Isles and the World (the latter available in both the traditional proportions and also in a true representation of countries' actual comparable size and shape). They come in a variety of colours, and either a high quality paper or magnetised finish, framed or unframed. I've been coveting one of these maps for a while (and now have one) for my office wall - working in a global environment and being undeniably rubbish at geography, I figure this is going to come in useful when someone mentions a place I've never heard of. I have the magnetised version which has the added benefits of being write-on/ wipe-off, and you can stick things on it. This is clearly an interactive fun map inviting me to play with it, rather than just a one-dimensional educational tool. It also looks very pretty - it's more than just a map, it's art.

Would recommend if you have an interest in pottery and want to start with the basics.
