As close as we could get, and this wasn't the headliner for the evening. Plan on making your way up front around 3pm for the 9pm headliner.

2026 line up: 5 stars! Simply cannot be topped. Value for three days: 4 stars General Admission amenities: 1 star. (Can't speak to the other tiers). Perhaps the festival has gotten too big for the space because the venue just does not support that amount of people or traffic. No chairs allowed so be prepared to stand for 3 days or sit on the hard, dirty ground. And if you choose to sit, you will not see or hear much of the top performers starting around 5pm since you will need to go way back beyond the turf area, basically into the vendor area. Lots of dust. Not much area to simply sit on a bench or picnic table to take a rest. Food options were great, but again, you will likely be sitting on the ground eating since there are only about 10-12 picnic tables (for tens-of-thousands of people). $30 for a double Tito's. Yikes - but not uncommon for festivals. All that said, the line up was simply so fantastic this year that I'm willing to overlook the negatives. But if the line up isn't great next year, I would not attend. And this comes from a guy who loves music festivals and attends even if I don't care for the bands, I just like the experience. I hope the promoters can figure out some better amenities or a new location as this festival appears to be on the rise.

I didn't know I could rate the innings festival! This year was our second time at the festival, we skipped last year. We had a blast!!! We attended both days because the line up was just too good to pass up! This year was more organized than 2022. They had everything perfectly planned so that people could switch from one stage to the other. The weather was just perfect. I will say, the food vendors are expensive, I paid 15 dollars for a large aguas frescas. That was ridiculous, I get inflation but come on... Other than the expensive food and drinks, it was perfect. I can't wait to know next year's line up!

Great atmosphere, next to the water, and great music! Yay!

So much fun, with awesome bands that took me back to my high school years! I love that all the bands that played still sound exactly the same. So much nostalgia and happy times, I completely immersed myself in the music. Some things that could have been better: 1. The layout of the festival is an little strange, the pathways cause multiple bottlenecks, so you end up stuck in a major crowd that doesn't move when a good band is playing. 2 Noticed at the main stage, the volume was going up and down in and out. To have good volume actually was to stand at the side of the stages. 3 It would have been good to be aware that apparel was a size smaller than labeled, I bought a large shirt for myself so it could be loose, but it fit like a normal medium on me, and I bought a 2xl for my bf, but it fit like a large on me and didn't fit him. I heard that by day 2 they were sold out so allot of people didn't get to buy a shirt or sweater. Hopefully next year these minor issues can be improved upon!! Overall super fun and epic concert!!!

Review #800 I finally got to attend my first Innings Festival this past Spring. If you have never been, Innings Festival is a two to three day celebration for music lovers and passionate baseball fans. It takes place during Spring Training in both Arizona and Florida. Past headliners here in Arizona include Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Dave Matthews Band, Chris Stapleton, Eddie Vedder, and Incubus. Former MLB legends will come out and great the fans as well. It's a fun way to get yourself hyped for the upcoming baseball season while listening to good music. This past year was headlined by Tame Impala and the Foo Fighters. Sadly it was one of the last shows for drummer Taylor Hawkins who would pass away weeks later. Overall I had a great time hanging out with friends. Innings Festival is also a culinary fest and usually has some good food on hand from many of the local restaurants here in the Valley. For baseball fans they have batting cages for your to test you skills in. Innings Festival is pretty well organized and puts together a great lineup each year. Since its inception in 2018, it has taken place at Tempe Beach Park. One nice thing about this festival is that you can link your method of payment (like PayPal) to your wrist band so you don't have to carry cash or credit cards around. You just scan your wrist band at the vendor station. But it can get dangerous if you have no self-control and buy too many brewskies.

(From February 2022) Great bands, MLB baseball people, food & drink, outdoors; also located in the downtown Tempe area with a transit stop nearby. I can't recommend this type of festival enough. Attended both Saturday and Sunday shows and saw great bands including Foo Fighters, Caamp, The Dip, Fitz and the Tantrums, War on Drugs, and the headliner, Tame Impala. With two stages, you'll be shuffling back and forth between them to check the artists out. Fortunately they have the sets timed where you can get to an artist right after the next one w/o missing a beat unless you're a slow walker. In that case, pick up the pace! The baseball section had some batting and pitching cages to show off your skillset and you can also meet some baseball people. Had the pleasure of meeting players including Dontrelle Willis (D-Train), Dave Stewart, and Kenny Lofton. Roger Clemons was in attendance but the line was so long for him so I didn't bother. Rocket still looks like he could pitch today. Also plenty of areas to lounge at, especially if you have VIP access. I recommend getting VIP as they give complementary waters and you have your own section for beverages instead of waiting in line at the food section. Plus there's some chairs and tables to rest your butt from standing all day. Also easy to strike up a convo with other festival goers who love baseball or good music. Wouldn't mind going again depending on the lineup. I live for events like this!

This is the walk way. You couldn't move or leave

NEVER EVER AGAIN. I don't know how this festival is even legally allowed to continue with the poor lay out and over selling. Yesterday - Saturday - February 25th 2023 They only had ONE entrance to get in, they used to have two in previous years. The back of the line, no exaggeration, was over a MILE long. It took us 20 + minutes to just find the end of the line. By the time we got in I had done 3 miles of walking. There was no where to walk, no one guiding traffic once inside. If there was a fire or an emergency, no one would be able to go anywhere. The photo attached is the fricken walk way. It didn't move for 10+ minutes until people were shoving and yelling at each other. The food and drinks were over priced and horrible. The only beer choices were corona and Sierra Nevada. Nothing else. Absolutely over sold, I never got to go to the other stage because you couldn't even walk over to it. In previous years they didn't have ga + where they fence private areas off, which makes the lay out completely congested. The people working there were so stressed and frantic trying to walk around also. If I could've gotten my money back and just leave I would have. Never, ever, again. I'll add that I'm quite a festival veteran and this has to be one of the worst, Ps - bring your own toilet paper since they were completely out

Excellent! Wonderful weather, 5 great stages, food and drinks! If you are looking for something to do and you love music and drinks this is a great festival!

Best place to be

When I saw the line up for bands this year for innings fest I knew I HAD to go. I have seen Red Hot Chili Peppers twice in AZ now and had to see them again and I have loved 311 since I was in high school! I decided to purchase the platinum ticket because it included a nice bathroom and unlimited food and drink! Getting In was easy and there was no crazy lines. When we arrived in the platinum section we all said wow this is totally worth the money. The food was catered and buffet style and was surprisingly reallllly good! The drinks were stiff (how we like them) and the bartenders were so nice!!! Upon entry and check In we also got cute little blue yetis! They also provide you lockers and chargers for any phone! We were there from around 1pm to 10pm when it closed. We have decided we will be coming every year from here on out as long as we want to see the bands in the line up. Overall epic experience!!!

There are not enough food options and vendors. The wait time for alcohol or food is very long. Great music though.

The only thing that costs money is the parking which can be up to $20. However, one tip I can give you guys is to find a public place a bit further out to park for free. For instance, the Tempe Westside Multi-Generational Center is a public park/facility that you can park at and it's only a 9 minute walk from the festival. As the name implies, there are a ton of art vendors. If you're not from Tempe, there's even more choices because some of downtown Tempe businesses are open during the event. Also, they've got a great selection of food vendors, snacks, and downtown restaurants to choose from. They even have a free water station to fill up your water. I always suggest bringing a small cooler with water bottles and napkins/wet wipes. So even if you're not a fan of the art, it's still a great place to go to if you're a foodie or want to browse other miscellaneous products. For instance, I got a free massage at a physical therapist booth and SugarBee was giving away free apples at one of the events. It's a great place to go if you want to support local.

For me, I enjoy the chance to engage with culture, eat a variety of foods, and support our local Asian community. These events typically take place in the parking lot of the AZ International Marketplace in Mesa. Several food and retail vendors fill up the parking lot with all sorts of yummy food and cool merchandise. There is also a stage with live entertainment. I recently attended the Kamayan Festival version of the night market which was part of the celebration for Filipino American History Month. I had a VIP pass to the Sapporo beer garden and enjoyed the perks that came with it. As much as I enjoy being a part of these festivals, the lines are usually insanely long. I come to these to try new things, but find myself getting discouraged by the long waits. I have learned the best time to come to Asian Night Markets is when they first open if you want to try a variety of food.

Organized by the Asian Chamber of Commerce, I know that in the past this required admission but this year's was free. I would not be surprised if it becomes an admission-only event in the future as it was packed from the entry time of 5:30. Given that the city of Mesa has decided to invest considerable resources to brand the area as an Asian enclave, I suspect it will get bigger and more impressive each year. While there are a ton of food trucks here, my advice would be not to show up hungry. Nearly every stall had long lines (save the poor coffee vendor). I would like to say that lines moved quickly, but most did not. I think it is better to have eaten a little something first and then show up and have a snack or two or come later in the evening when the live music really gets going. But if you plan to make this your sole dinner stop it will be frustrating. One perk of a big festival like this is that many smaller caterers/restaurants/food trucks that you haven't heard of will show up. There was plenty that was new to me and gave me a bucket list of places to try. I got some bao buns from Hot Bamboo which has a brick-and-mortar location in Chandler as well as a food truck that often pops up at festivals across town. They make Instagrammable character buns. It's a bit cheesy but the price was good and they were flavorful and satisfying. They were temporarily out of some fillings and the employees were profusely apologetic. It did inspire me to want to one day visit their actual restaurant. The vibe was great and the 2022 edition was a nice blend of people from all walks of life eager to celebrate our post-pandemic world (yeah, Year of the Tiger!). Besides food trucks, there were a few vendors selling gifts and other items but nothing popped out as too special. You can find the schedule on their website. Besides the night market, they also organize some daytime activities at parks that focus less on food and more on culture.

Actually, hungry everyone. Thankfully, I had gotten free tickets so I wasn't out anything but the wrist band. Hopefully they can get some organization together before next year! It has the potential to be a really fun event, but they need to overhaul the drink/food ticket and parking lot situation.
