I was diagnosed with emphesyma,sleep apnea,high cholesteral high blood pressure .I met Dr.Jim and Dr.Nick about May of 2010.My regular doctor said my emphysema would not get better because it is progressive.Dr.Jim and Dr. Nick talked about the body needs to be in alignment,good food choices ,exercise, will let your body do its job to heal itself.Many times in the last couple of years I would have times I could not get a deep breath either at night or on the street or car.I would go to a hospital and sit outside if I could and wait for a good breath to start happening for me.It was frighting.Dr.Jim and Nick showed me their love and dedication for making people truly well if not the world.They make me feel so welcome and are truly concerned about helping me grt well.My second visit they Dr Jim worked on my neck and upper back .The doctors gave me some more exercises before I left that morning.I left and went on with my day. I sat aand thought what did I do or eat different this day for this great miracle for me .I could only remember being at Wellness source that morning.I have beenkeeping my 2 or 3 times a week appointments driving one hour each way.Three weeks ago I had another pulmonay lung test done and my lungs got better.No breathing attacks in a year.Mycholesteral isat a good number,I am off blood pressure medicine because on it I was getting dizzy because it was getting too low .I forget to use my apnea machine sometimes but dont wake up and cannot breath .I cannot thank DRs. Appointments when I see my MD go like this: I check in with a person behind a glass at the front desk; I sit in a small waiting room with other strangers who are more interested in reading an outdated Home & Garden magazine than to talk to me; I wait and wait and wait until the gatekeeper finally calls my name; my weight and height get checked before I'm kicked back to the windowless waiting room to wait some more. Even after I see the MD, I feel frustrated, like I wasted 2 hours at the airport for a 20 minute airtime flight. Dr. Nick gave me my life back with the use of my hand and arm after just one visit! I had tennis elbow for many years and later developed carpal tunnel. I couldn't pick up my kids, put my pants on, or drink a cup of tea without horrible pain. I had been to many different doctors (sports chiropractors, Orthopedic doctors, acupuncture, physical therapy, deep tissue massage, etc.), they all said it just took time and to rest it along with weeks of their type of treatment and I still didn't see any improvement. I first met the staff from The Wellness Source at a Crohns conference. Dr. Nick is the best! We came in as a family of 4 for treatment. When my mother-in-law came in she was dragging her foot from years of back pain. I went to Dr Nick Kuennen and Dr. Jimmy Lopez suffering from chronic headaches, I have been to see many other Dr's and health care providers over the years for my headaches which had become debilitating.
