Lots of comfort just walking through the door. You sign a waiver before entering the service. We all had a door detox today. They review what the detox does while you wait. So, I was really excited. I easily booked the appointment online. When I got in, the whole place was sweltering. The room was hot, the bed was hot, and they had a blanket over the sheet. I was able to get rid of the blanket and the bed heater, but the room stayed super warm. I explained my needs for work on my neck and shoulders, and we decided on adding a quicker gloss over the rest of my body as well because I had booked more time that she needed to just work my neck. The massage was not pain relieving. It wasn't even slightly therapeutic. I wasn't expecting for all of my problems to be cured, but I was expecting for at least a little bit of relief due to the extra dopamine. Nothing. It was like I paid a stranger to put lotion on me. I could tell she did work a couple of the muscles on the front of my neck, but it seemed like she ran out of time and didnt even get to the back of my neck, which was the #1 reason I was there. I complained about my neck still hurting. She massaged my neck for like 2 more minutes and then instructed me to get dressed.
