We pre-booked our $17 tickets online for a mid-afternoon visit in the first week of May. This included admission and picking 10 tulips. (Additional blooms are $1 each.) We parked on site, then stood in awe; the million+ tulip blooms the website promised were actually there and more stunning in person! We entered under the arched entrance and were invited to borrow any available flower picking basket, then wander and pick any of the 87 varieties of tulips among the hundreds of blooming rows. Where to start! The three of us took our sweet time choosing, frolicking (as you do), posing, snipping, and generally ooh-ing and ahh-ing for 2 hours. There's a designated area of the field just for photos - no picking allowed there. We spotted 4 other small groups of people tulipping it up like we were, for the 'gram and all. LOTS of space (it's a field) so it's easy to get shots without crowds. You'll find the main photo area I mentioned, plus a few decorative chairs in the fields, a large wooden photo frame to pose in, and an old piano with vases of tulips on top. (YES, we played the piano in the field. Obviously.) Upon our exit, the farm wrapped our pretty blossoms in brown paper and Co-owner Joseph just happened to offer to take our photo. This was a super fun and different way to spend the afternoon with my husband and my mom. If you're in flower heaven like we were, you'll pick and pay for extra tulips; we left with 34 large, beautiful and unique tulips between us, and got to marvel at their beauty for up to a week as some died sooner than others. The place was packed when I went, but I still had an abundance of tulips to quite literally pick from. The farm is huge and the varieties are impressive. Each ticket gets you 10 stems of tulips and you can add on for $1 per additional tulip to build your dream bouquet. The staff was nice, helpful and efficient. There are also food trucks, picnic spots, and bathrooms (really port o potties) to make the experience one you will never forget.

They have plenty of cherry and sour cherry trees and you can easily walk around the orchard and pick your own cherries/sour cherries. They open up at 8am sharp and if you get there early enough, you'll be able to pick 7litres in less than an hour. The owners are very friendly. You can also sign up for their newsletter and get discount. I recommend keeping your baskets and bring them back with you every year.

This is not a huge lavender farm, but it's definitely the nicest one. It was quiet despite being a long weekend. The owner family were extremely nice. Explained what they have to offer in their farm. We went in, watched a little presentation on the screen, the owner's daughter explained to us how they produce their essential oil. The owner took time to explain to us the work involved in taking care of the farm and answered all of our questions. Wonderful people! We have been to other lavender farm like the big one in Campbellville (Milton) which was a nightmare. But this one definitely worth a visit. Even though it is not a huge place, we did spent an hour walking around, taking pictures and we bought some of their products.

For the price, I wiuld definitely recommend this inn. Pros: - Price was the best in comparison to all other hotels / motels / inns in the area. All outlets and lights were working which was great! - The area is not too bad depending on what you want to do. Around a 30 minute walk to the Burlington shopping mall in one direction, a 30 minute walk to an assortment of stores and residential areas in the other. - Hotel stay comes with free breakfast and parking (They even have charging stations for hybrids / electric vehicles) Cons: - The breakfast was very basic: eggs, fruits, toast / pancakes, cereal and yogurt. The only issue was that on the 3rd day, the breakfast area smelled terrible! - Not many things to do at the hotel. They only have a fitness room and a breakfast area (closes at 10am). - The back entrance and stair area can be shady. The outside door is not locked so anyone could come in to the hotel.

We arrive so late Thursday (around midnight) and Brian was still up to greet us and show is around the house. This place is nothing short of beautiful. They're one of 9 houses on the Annual Garden Tour, which happened to be going on the weekend we stayed. Place was WELL stocked with Filtered water, coffee, tea, and toiletries (if you forgot any); he even had bathing suits you could borrow if you forgot yours and you want to take a dip in their pool! What?! Breakfasts are as incredible as everyone says they are. As a chef, he really does it up. 15+ diff kinds of (local) cheeses, fresh-sweet-in season fruits, yogurt, fresh-baked breads, some kind of sweet roll/muffin, homemade chutneys and jams, and omelets/eggs benedict/frittata (one of those as the "feature," depending on the day). Breakfast is served at 9am and you eat breakfast with the other guests, which was so nice because we met so many nice people and traded stories and tips and advice. We stayed in Mrs Butlers Chamber and it was just fine for us since we were out and about most of the day, but if you can, opt for the Colonels room (with a deck and nice view) or the other King-size-bed room with more space. Free wifi. Salt water-solar heated pool! Brian is an amazing host. He gave us plenty of tips for wineries to visit and local places to check out...we even got some complimentary wine-tasting vouchers! Jan was so charming and entertaining. They're dog Sarah (a little black Scottie) was such a calm, quiet, cutie, if you want to play with her, otherwise, she doesn't "jump at people." We are def coming back!
