Inn Florist stands out like a freshly blooming rose against drab wallpaper. It is situated amid grocery stores, bakeries and cafes. I went inside because my eye caught the sweet vases they had displayed in the window.
This isn't your stock standard florist. You can find your ordinary gerberas and babies breath here, sure, but there are more interesting flowers on show. There were a bunch of eye catching, almost sculptural looking flowers (sadly I don't know their names) waiting to be put into some contemporary arrangement.
The vases they have for sale are gorgeous. They have quite a diverse selection. Some of them have a more organic look about them, others are asian design inspired, and some vases are entirely different again.
You'd do well to have a look in here for gift ideas (outside of flowers) too. They had some seriously adorable leather animal toys for sale. Horses, pigs, dogs, you name it. Apparently the lion (sold) was the best. I came so close to buying one. So close.
The two staff who were in the store when I went in were absolutely lovely. They were engaging, easy to laugh and willing to have a chat.
