I am so excited to get my new custom-made clubs this week! The fitting session was so good that I set my husband up for a session with Glenn, too! I bought him a full set of Taylormade R-11s last year and now I want to know if they were the right choice or if they need to be tweaked a little. Glenn was very encouraging while reviewing my set up, swing, and follow through. Through the use of several devices, Glenn suggested the proper lie, loft, length, and firmness my swing requires. It was the first time someone wasn't telling me to adapt my swing to the equipment but rather to keep my natural swing and change out a few clubs. Glenn was very fair and he never pushed me to buy a whole new set of clubs. In fact, there were plenty of items in his shop that were more expensive than what he suggested I use. That proved to me that he had my best interest in mind and not merely his profit margin. Now that you have my specs is on file, Glenn, you have me as a lifetime customer! Also, the instructor offers private lessons for both men and women. Sandra Chester is the LPGA teaching professional that will guide you through the basics along with her great assistant Kim. They have excellent booklets, with great illustrations for both right and left handed golfers. The booklets cover everything from general golf course information to equipment that you will need. From day 1 we not only had indoor class time, we also headed outside for hands on putting. I would truly recommend these classes to all ladies from the beginners to those who just want to learn the correct way to stand, hold your club, or just improve your game. Thanks to Sandra and Kim, I now feel that I can play a game and not make a total fool of myself.
