They have lots of areas to explore including a massive rose garden, manicured and sculpted gardens, green house, and Japanese gardens. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here to take it all in. Parking - plenty of free parking in lots surrounding the gardens.

This is a gorgeous park and botanical garden bustling with people and butterflies and life!…read moreWe stopped here to have some lunch under the covered picnic area and were surrounded by green grass and the sound of children playing at the nearby playground. There was a cool breeze through the canopies on a very warm day and garbage cans to dispose of our leftovers. When we stumbled upon the gorgeous flower gardens, I could not believe it. There were multiple gardeners working outside of the conservatory and although it was closed, I can't imagine that there was anything more beautiful inside than what we saw outside. We were able to sit over at the benches and rally enjoy the fountain and manicured flowers. There was a large, veryrude family that did come through who wanted to scream at their kids and then try to take photographs in front of the flowers like a happy family. Then allow their smaller children to stomp through the flowers and scream loudly while they stared at their phones. And there were of course at least two young ladies posing for "the gram" that picked flowers and made obnoxious gestures in ridiculously skimpy clothes... I guess those types of things can't be helped these days and they are no reflection on the garden itself, just be prepared for your peace to be interrupted. We also made a quick stop at the Rose garden which I did not find to be quite as beautiful but smelled lovely... There were just too many bugs and it was there were just too many bugs and it was far too warm to spend much time there. If I lived closer to this park, I would come everyday to listen to the sound of the fountain and appreciate the beauty of the topiaries and flowers and I would recommend a stop here for anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature.

Life got in the way in 2020, but this spring (2021) we returned for another awesome adventure with Mica Moon. The weather was "just right"... not to hot and sunny, nor cold and wet. Our guides this trip were Andrew and Heidi. Both were superb. Although their manner was very upbeat and loads of fun, they were very professional throughout the entire adventure. From the initial pre-zip briefing, to dropping us back at their office in town nine zips later, we felt we were in very competent hands. The ride up (and down) the mountain via four wheel ATVs was great fun, and Andrew kept us entertained with a colorful verbal history of the area and the mountain we would be Ziplining down. Their gear is top notch, and the guides double and triple check each person's harness and other equipment frequently during the 9 different "zips" that make up the complete tour. At no point did we ever feel our safety was compromised in the least. From a very short "starter" zip (maybe 50 feet) to the "BIG MOMMA" zip at 3500+ feet long, this is an adrenaline rush you just shouldn't miss. It's definitely something to place on your bucket list. Heads UP, Heidi, we WILL be back to zip with you again this fall. Thank you Mica Moon... what FUN !

" Fantastic Tours with Great Tour Guides "…read more My wife and I stayed in Spokane Washington last week for two days at the gorgeous Davenport Hotel. On both days we took different city tours conducted by Group Coordinators, located in Spokane Washington at 7424 N Lidgerwood St. Our first tour we took was the " Spokane City Tour Past & Present ", where Group Coordinators, Inc. Tour Guide Janna Juday, lead our group on a wonderful, historical, and very informative tour about Spokane's colorful and rich history. We toured the city viewing and learning about Spokane's historic homes and attractions. Janna always had a beautiful young and bubbly smile on her face, as she answered everybody's questions in detail and spoke very clearly, as she guided the tour bus on a 3 hour tour the city of Spokane. We saw the Spokane River where the grounds of the former 1974 World Expo. are located. We also viewed historical Riverfront Park, Spokane Falls, Manito Park, Saint John's Cathedral, Steam Plant Towers, Japanese Gardens, and flower-filled Gaiser Conservatory and more. We also ascended up " The Hill ", where we saw panoramic views of the city and stunning mansions. We finished the tour by walking through Bing Crosby House, and viewing his memorabilia, on the campus of Gonzaga University. The next day my wife and I took the 2 1/2 hour " Downtown Walking Tour, For the Gourmet ". The tour was lead by Jan Juday, the mother of the guide we had the previous day Janna Juday. Jan led our group on a guided walking tour of the historic Davenport Arts District, where she combined art and history and brought in gourmet foods and wine tastings, at several restaurants and wineries. Jan told us stories about the history of the city of Spokane in the late 1800's and early 1900's, including the Great Fire of 1889 that leveled 32 square blocks of downtown Spokane. Jan's historical knowledge, and her detailed presentation of the city of Spokane was Fantastic ! My wife and I were in the Education profession for 35 years before we retired, and have lead 100's of student and adult historic educational tours around the United States. I can tell you that Jan and Janna Juday, the Mother and Daughter tour guides who work for Group Coordinators, are two of the very best I have ever witnessed. If you want to learn the history of the city of Spokane Washington, call Group Coordinators, Inc. at 1-509-455-4354 and ask for either Jan or Janna Juday for your tour guides, you will not be disappointed.

CAUTION: Very unprofessional small business. I was taken back by the extremely negative attitudes…read moreof both staff members, almost as if they resent customers. They seem to find the nature of their work to be irritable and it shows in their poor customer service. They said they would adjust our reservation to accommodate our travel time then without authorization tried to charge us for this time. So we went to the marina at the resort instead and they were 1000 times more pleasant, positive and the cost was much cheaper. I personally would rather support the small business but in this case the staff was far too negative and anti-service minded. I would never do business with them again. Then they tried to over charge us for a boat we didn't rent and an additional "admin" fee. Be aware.

The snowmobile broke down within the first 10 minutes which ended our trip. We luckily had another party tow my dad in. Jake promised to refund half of the money, which has never happened!! After my dad called multiple times with Jake's false promises to repay - it's clear Jake has no intention to repay my dad. Lastly, Jake told my dad to take him to small claims court or meet him out back for a FIGHT .....Ok yeah! Fight my 63 year old dad..Jake- you are a sick human being, coward and a liar. My prediction is you won't be in business long!!! Came back to post to say my dad received check in mail today- hopefully it goes through but your behavior is still unacceptable
