I got my first tattoo here! I was visiting my friend in NC and we wanted to get tattoos together so we booked an appointment and our artist was Mike. Overall the appointment process was pretty simple. You can message on instagram/facebook and they were very responsive. When we arrived we just signed our waiver and provided our photo ID's. The actual place is very clean which I appreciated. Mike was such a friendly guy. It's funny because I came all the way down to NC to get a tattoo and I'm from NJ/NYC. Mike is from NYC and moved down to NC recently, I thought that was a funny coincidence. He always let us know what he was going to do before he did it and was very informative. He let us know the aftercare process and what to expect. That being said, we are almost a month out and my tattoo has healed beautifully! If I'm ever back in NC and looking to get a tattoo, I will book it with Mike. read more

Phenomenal tattoo shop with a talented cast of artists, all of which are super kind and caring. In early March, I got a new tattoo in honor of my son. It's a Griffin tattoo which represents my sons middle name. The shop is extremely clean, private and comfortable, which is something I always look for when searching for a new place/artist. I don't like those tattoo shops that have that open vibe to them where you can see everyone else getting their tattoo, because I honestly don't find that to be an enjoyable experience. At InkedSanity there are artists that share a room, but it feels very cozy and private. Huge shout out to Alex who did a great job and definitely delivered on my vision! I got a small tattoo here last year, and just got a daith piercing done today. The tattoo was just a simple line work piece, but I've looked through the books showing each tattoo artist's work and they all seem phenomenal. Chris did my piercing today, and the entire process took less than 15 minutes from when I walked through the door. He talked me through what he was doing so I knew when to expect pinching/pressure/etc. They take walk-ins, but you're better off making an appointment to minimize your wait time. Very clean establishment and friendly staff. At the moment they are appointment only, which is fine with me because of COVID. I called to request an appointment for two piercings and they were able to get me in the same day. Shawn (piercer) is very friendly and is great at his job. They charge $40 for a nose piercing, which to me is not a bad price (I am not aware of what the normal price is anyway). So far the healing process has been quick and no issues for me. If I ever need a piercing or tattoo I would definitely be back. read more

I would like to note and compliment the studio's new tattoo artist Alexey F. (Alex) from Eastern Europe! He is a very nice guy, very careful and caring! Strong attention to detail, such a perfectionist! Even when I said: "It doesn't matter, that's fine, whatever, just leave it like that" - he wasn't giving up and continued to make every tiny thing absolutely perfect! At times, when I had a million questions and hesitations, asked to make changes or edit something - Alex was very patient and calm! He helped me with initial design research, advised in making my final choice, and gave some ideas for the future tattoos - both very professional and friendly! Got a bridge piercing on a whim here because it was monday and they happened to be open . very nice staff but i am very displeased with the piercing. Even after several times marking the places to be pierced it still felt odd placement to me. Even after I are concerned about the placement and said that I would really prefer that it were deeper into the bridge as every other piercing I've seen this part of the body is that way he suggested know against it and also against the jewelry that I wanted to begin with I've read several articles and different piercers opinions on whether or not to use a curved barbell or a straight barbell in I'd ask for the straight and left with the curved I've got quite a few other piercings and I'm not unfamiliar with the possibilities of these things rejecting are migrating and I would have much preferred to take the chance of that happening over just completely hating the piercing to begin with as I've been really wanting it for several years it's almost healed now and I'm contemplating taking it out or maybe having someone look at it to see if I can stretch it so that it appropriately fits my face as according to me on the other hand I may just take it out give up on that dream again very nice place everybody was friendly but if you have strong convictions on how you want something done you better speak up I know that I have other piercings as well but nobody even offered to discuss after care I felt like that was strange read more

I got my nose pierced here in december for $40 and then my helix in january for another $40. The staff were very nice and everything seemed organized and sanitary! Never had any problem with infections during healing. Love my piercings and would definitely come here again. read more

i love inked sanity! everyone there is so nice and they make you feel so welcome. i've gotten all of my piercings here, that includes multiple ear piercings, nostrils, septum, and tongue. they've all healed great with no issues! chris is amazing, he did all of these piercings. i love how he throughly explains everything he is doing and the aftercare. he's the best! i also have gotten a tattoo by alex and it was beautiful! anytime someone asks me where to go for piercings or where i got mine i always recommend inked sanity!!!! read more

Best shop around. No flash tattos here, this team does all custom work! A 4 hour visit woth them recently showed that thier not just worried about making a fast buck. Also had a wonderful experience with thier pericer. Definitely will be going back for bigger peices. Better than All of the raleigh shops. read more

I don't recommend you get and form of lobe piercing here the earring they give you is absolutely hideous. The earring back either is so lose it falls out or so tight it can sink through your ear. The earring made me think my second hole piercing was ugly for the first few nights I had it from the pure ugliness of the earring so yeah if you're getting your lobes pierced I don't care that it's not as sanitary, go to Claire's or something. It will be way cheaper anyway. read more
