I came in today for a navel piercing. I was super nervous I sat in the chairs that were provided…read morewhich were super comfy and helped calm my nerves. Kelley my piercer came to me directly asked what I wanted done and took me to the room. I asked her if it would hurt and she asked me what I have all had pierced and said how it would only hurt a little more than my ear, this is what I wanted for her to be serious with me it truly helped me get ready. She was super friendly and I was comfortable the whole time she is very good at what she does and I wasn't just a job for her to get in and out of her area she enjoys what she does and that's so good. I also loved the form I had to fill out it truly made me be like they are legit and going to give me great service which is what they did. Definetly coming back for more, also if you want a tattoo def come here one of the workers was double double checking everything for a client to make sure it was perfect for them and was like tell me if everything looks good this is gonna be here forever and that's what you want to hear someone to listen to you to make sure you love everything about it.

Devotion has been awarded with quite a bit of my business for many different reasons…read more Cleanliness: their shop is always clean and presentable (not to mention kick-ass music constantly playing the background). The staff is very knowledgeable and up-to-date on how to keep your fresh body modifications clean and healing up as quickly as possible. They keep a level of professionalism that is only matched by their open attitudes. I've been pierced three times from their shop (lip, industrial, and my gauges) and each time was walked through the steps of being pierced, how to keep it clean, and double check to see if it was what I really wanted. Rob (shop owner) on several occasions helped me decide on which type of piercing would look best with my physique and facial structure, something that I appreciate greatly as a recurring customer. One thing that I hate about many different shops is that they have an almost "holier than thou" attitude that makes me, as a customer, not want to return or even get a modification done, despite how talented the artists are. I've never had a problem like this at Devotion. Frankly, I think this is one of the most important aspects of customer service in this kind of industry--I need to be able to trust you, as an artist, to not screw the work I want done and I want to be able to approach you and get an honest opinion about the work I want done. I worked with Rob to get my 2nd tattoo design redone for about an hour before he started actually working on me just to make sure that the design was exactly what I wanted. (If it's permanent, no one should accept anything less than perfect, really). The prices are very reasonable and match the current market prices in terms of piercings and hourly rates for tattoos. On top of that, the work by the artists is phenomenal, so you're getting a solid investment when you chose to get your work done here. They also have a wide range and style of jewelry to choose from and know many local artists who are willing and able to make personalized and unique sets. If you want a relaxed atmosphere that maintains true professionalism and has high-quality art, check 'em out. I would give them 5 stars, but no shop is perfect.
