The place was clean and had a good ambience, the person behind the desk was super nice, and when our turn came the piercer, Haven, was good at putting us at ease, and the studio was full of neat decorations like giant exotic bugs. I got my nipples done and my wife got a double nostril piercing and we were both happy with the placement and process. If you're looking for a piercing, and especially I'd say if you're queer, Haven is a great person to see! It could not have gone down in a better way, and we'll be back :)

First of all, the artist, who is the owners daughter, put it in the wrong place, then I asked for a little flower underneath it and she told me she couldn't do it and then just turned the I in the word sunshine into what was supposed to be a star but just looks like this "*" some of the lines are barely there and some of them are super super thick. almost all the lines are blown out and on top of that, my artist kept touching and answering her phone in the middle of the session WITH HER GLOVES ON!! she didn't shave my arm, and she was to busy telling me, and I quote "my boyfriend hits me sometimes but its okay because he's black" like, ma'am??! this tattoo is super important to me and she totally dropped the bomb, I'm super disappointed. Oddly enough though, I got my septum pierced there by the owner and she did absolutely amazing, in the exact right place and healed super super fast.

The owner had just finished with a client but didn't send us away. Angelina was able to see me and did a fantastic job! I recently decided I wanted to have it pierced again. I called the shop ahead of time to ask how much piercings were and was told "$50 including the jewelry". I get to the shop, sign some forms and was again told "$50. Look around at these cases *motions to cases* they are our nose piercings". I waited for about an hour before their piercer could get to me (yes they were quite busy). I showed him the one I wanted (as I spent basically an entire hour looking). I then again asked how much that piercing was, he said "$70". I thought, cool, a little more expensive than $50 but I got a neat little 14K gold nose ring. No biggie. Before I sit in the chair, the receptionist calls me up to pay and my total was $130 dollars! I have the money, I can pay that's no problem. But what I had an issue with was feeling like information was purposefully withheld in order to make a higher sale. Not only is this dishonest, but left a bad taste in my mouth. The same jewelry I purchased in the shop, isn't even worth $70 online! Yeah, I could've said no. But I had already been waiting for so long AND the place was so packed..I got nervous saying no and going back to the drawing table. Pic for reference of what I got.
