It is a doctor's office environment (not a spa) and the staff seems efficient at their jobs although they do need to keep their voices down when complaining about patients...they probably don't realize just how much their voices carry into the lobby. No worries...they didn't violate HIPA - they were not using a name. Groupon: I bought a Groupon that includes the shots + a body scan (which is similar to standing on a scale but it reads your body) that provides information such as body fat % and BMI, among other things. **feel free to PM me if you want to know more** After the body scan, the dietitian took me to a treatment room to review the scan results. The guy was really in shape so I imagine he knows his stuff but I felt he had a very difficult time communicating the information to me. I have pharmaceutical experience so it wasn't like he was speaking over my level, he just needs to practice his delivery or something. Anyway, I left feeling slightly overwhelmed at how much he talked AT me but I guess it's better than not having any consultation. I will hold my decision until I've had multiple visits He administered the shot to my hip which was rather painless. Subsequently, I had itching, it's been sore and numb for 2 weeks. I've yet to go back for another shot to allow the side effects to subside. I can't definitively attribute the symptoms to the shot (even though the symptoms are in the shot area) because it felt like I was bitten by something but it never bruised it was only red and swollen. Anyway, I will discuss it with the practitioner on my next visit and report back to y'all. BTW: I take the Slim Shot from Diet by Design in my arm and have the typical soreness but have not had any side effects after 6 shots. Lastly, they gave me a take home folder with a copy of my scan and said we would track my results. Impressive.

I'm a fan! 4/2/2013 Original Review Review for Slim Shot: Yesterday I purchased a groupon for B12 slim shots and today I went to DbD unannounced for my first shot. The office was a bit difficult to find but I called and an extremely chipper woman answered and helped. The office is located on the 12th floor of the North Dallas Bank building at 635 and Preston. Easy in and out with plenty of free parking. The staff welcomed me, gave me some medical history forms to complete, escorted me to the back, explained my shot options based on my goals, gave me the injection, answered my questions, and I was out about 15 minutes later. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the organization and cleanliness of the office. They reemphasized no appointment necessary and gave me the hours of operation. Very easy. The nurse said I may or may not feel the effects immediately depending on my body. I am very sensitive to stimulants and medicine so I didn't know what to expect. About 15 minutes after injection, I felt a rush of adrenaline, my heart rate increased and I felt slightly anxious. It was less than I feel when I take a fat burner or drink too much coffee but I definitely felt it but was not concerned because I know my body. About 1 hour later, I felt a slight crash (very tired) so I took a nap. I imagine my body will need to adjust. My plans are to do 2 shots per week for 3 months. I think the ingredients in the shot are good for my body so anticipate good results. I'll post a follow up review of subsequent shots and how they make me feel.

My personal Doctor found that I have an infection and inflammation in my stomach from the initial incision. I am now on a myriad of medication to fight this infection that I have had since at least May13, 2024...so a month of constant pain, dizziness and difficulty sleeping due to the pain.
