So we explored various vendors all of who provide some customization, but we were limited to a selection of the sizes and styles that they offered. Then we found Vintage Millwork & Restoration. They offered true custom millwork, whatever size and style that we wanted they would build for us. They invited us to their shop where we were able to design our door to our individual desire. The result is that we have a door like no other; a hand crafted door made from reclaimed white oak. We simply love it.

The very next day I received a drawing with pictures of the fence and pictures of the privacy fence that I requested with a quote, a very reasonable quote, compared to other contractors. I gave them the job and they came out within a week to complete my fence. It was completed that day and it was done beautifully. Even my neighbors commented how beautiful it looked. Every detail was aligned and the hardware was sturdy. I was very pleased and I couldn't say enough about Dante and his uncle Joe! I highly recommend the crew and their work!!

However after my review, and although it was never said, I arrived home one day to find Amos waiting for me to make things right. I'd like to think that my review had nothing to do with it but it was clear after the work was done, and a comment was made about Yelp, that it had everything to do with my review. Either way, it all worked out in the end. He did the job and I'm happy with the results. While a tad alarmed to come home and find someone unannounced they did send the right gentleman to make things right. I was very upset with this company and for his cold call initially but did end up giving him the job. Why? Because he said all the right things, admitted fault with miscommunication within their company, and made it clear that he would do whatever to make things right. Which included a discount (although I didn't have a prior estimate for comparison so I'm taking his word for it), bumping me up on the schedule, and spending the time with me to gain my trust. Amos is truly an asset to this company, very professional and knowledgeable, not only with the type of work his company does, but also happy to recommend other reputable contractors. Now that the work is done I'm happy I trusted him and am glad he came and made things right. I've had strangers walk by and comment about how nice my railing looks and how identical it is to the original, which was wood and about 95 + years old. The profile, and every last little detail, including the round rosette type molding to the pillars were replicated in vinyl. The color is perfect too. I wasn't home when he came, and actually was surprised by the install date but they left my highly decorated porch (which wasn't prepped in the least for the install) as I left it, clean and without damage. I would use them again for future needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them (and have to our neighbors who might do the same thing), only I'd deal with Amos directly.

I had a quote worked up based on the footage of my old fence and then had Mark Wilson, owner of the company come out to make sure everything would work out. We had to wait a bit since he was so busy but that was fine with us, there was no hurry. I am so glad we chose this company for our fence. They arrived early in the morning and Mark worked right along with his big crew to get the job done. He stayed late to make sure the extra fence around our pool equipment looked just so. I could tell he really cared about the quality of his work. When the guys were done we went out to take a look and were so impressed by the solidness of the fencing and how great it looked. Just a simple split rail fence, but the best we've seen. Since then we have noticed other split-rail fences in our area and they don't look nearly as solid and well designed. Mark made sure to pick only good looking rails that were solid and actually pretty as far as split rails go. We actually marveled at how solid the gates were. I would highly recommend getting this fence company if you are looking for a professional job by someone who knows what they are doing. The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. I think more people should be aware of this company when looking to install fencing. We could not be happier and are actually excited when we see our new fence out back!
