I was looking for a new Internist close to home. Dr Schantz came HIGHLY recommended by several…read morepeople. I cannot believe the doctor did an initial visit that lasted 2 1/2 hours. He never rushed and was very detailed. He had some suggestions. One included a Cat scan w/ contrast for my heart- (His specialty is cardiology) due to certain issues. (I had been to the Cardiologist recently and he told me to come back in a year). Dr. Schantz discovered an 80 % blockage in an artery, which my Cardiologist was surprised to see. He was amazing with amazing referrals for other doctors. He is one heck of a diagnostician and a really caring, brilliant physician. He's amazing- I'm glad I'm seeing him. He may have saved my life, I HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for what we used to call- a real family doctor.
