Response to business owner reply: She stated: "On timing, we arrived 17 minutes after the scheduled delivery window, not after the party start." Maybe they don't know how to tell time because the party start on our contract was 11:30am and they arrived at 11:47am. Last time I checked, 11:47am is AFTER 11:30am. They also never apologized to being late. I would know since I was the first person the delivery guys ran into. They're now backtracking on saying the unit was actually cleaned. Weird how neither the guys setting it up nor her original email response stated that it was actually cleaned. Her original email response literally says "That didn't leave us enough time to give it the full cleaning we normally would before bringing it to your event.". Classic backtracking. Finally her response to trying to "make it right". Do you see where in her email response she tried to "make it right" because I sure don't. Did she offer a reimbursement? A credit for future rental? Sure didn't. It doesn't take a genius to see she's trying desperately to save face, but the poor reviews on her tell you everything you need to know. ---------- Rented an inflatable three weeks in advance. Showed up almost 20 minutes after the scheduled start time. On top of that, the inflatable was dirty (see photo). One of the guys said he'd call a supervisor to see if he could clean it, but didn't end up calling and just sprayed it off with our hose so basically you can completely ignore this line on their website: "What sets us apart: All inflatables are cleaned, sanitized, and state-inspected per Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulations.". Obviously not cleaned or sanitized. Their response to these issues was basically "sorry, but we were busy". See the image of their email response. They had also texted asking if they could deliver the day prior and pick up the inflatable the day after our scheduled day. I replied with no because we wouldn't be there to watch it and they never responded even after I reached back out to confirm that wouldn't be an issue. Find a different place to rent from if you want a CLEAN inflatable and decent communication. read more

Everything was great until they came to pick up the inflatables and took 2 of our extension cords. I called and of course they said they didn't take them but I guess they didn't see all the cameras. I told the girl on the phone that you can literally see them pick them up and drive off with them on the video. She told me to send the owner an email with the video and I haven't heard back at all. Won't use again. read more

We rented the carousel for our 4 year olds birthday party and it was perfect for her and her friends. The guys that showed up to set it up were polite and put it exactly where we asked. They showed up a couple hours earlier than expected so our kids got some time in it alone. The bounce house was VERY clean and seemed to be well maintained. We will be doing business with this company again for sure and would highly recommend friends and family to them. read more

I rented a water slide and mentioned the Facebook advertisement for pay for one day get the second day free. The owner agreed and emailed me an updated receipt showing Saturday at 12pm to Sunday at 7pm. They picked the slide up at 12:30 Sunday. Once I verified my email was correct I contacted the owner and she didn't make it right and said that deal was only for May, which was not stated when she agreed during booking an sent me an updated receipt reflecting both days. Their idea of making it right was for me to book another rental which was $240, then they would add on the second day there. read more

This company is truly professional and has great customer service, always very friendly. They have a great selection of bounce houses and other items. They are my family's first choice for other rental items such as tables and chairs also. I would rate them 10 stars if possible!!! read more

My family used this company for a July 4th rental and we rented a Barnyard type house for small children. The company was great setting up and delivering/pick-up. No issues. We were very disappointed that the rental was SO DIRTY! There was dirt and mud all over the unit, it was so gross and it was basically impossible to get in and clean it without getting it wet. We had to scrounge around and find towels and other ways to clean frantically before our guests arrived - this is hard as adults and especially when it's so hot outside, because this is a unit for kids. I wouldn't even let my toddler in it! I guess we learned our lesson to make sure it's fine before the delivery guys leave. Customer Service got back to us on our survey feedback which was nice, but did not offer any type of refund or discount on future orders which was a bummer. In the future we will look at other options when it comes to renting something for our parties. read more

I have used this company the last three years for my sons birthday party. Every year has gone off without any problems, however this year was different. I had several issues that, by themselves wouldn't have been so disappointing, but all together solidified the fact that i am no longer a loyal customer to this company. The crew showed up to drop off the bounce house on time. Upon signing the paperwork i was told they needed the remainder of the balance in cash before they would set up. The lady setting up informed me that Chandra changed this policy recently. This is no big deal. Its actually a good business move as i understand Chandra has been screwed over in past when attempting to collect payment at pick up. I just would have liked to have been prepared and i wasnt. So i had to leave my house with food cooking on the stove top to run to the bank. ***Chandra does quickly read through a script at the time of reservation, apparently she says at this time that payment is due at delivery. **** At the time of reservation and deposit payment, the bounce house i ordered was $170, delivered. When it was dropped off the was a $10 delivery fee. I inquired about this to the lady on the delivery crew and was told i could call Chandra if i desired. So i did. Calling Chandra wasnt very helpful, in fact it made it worse. When i informed her that in the past years i was able to pay at pick up she let me know that she was going to look up my past account, because getting payment at pick up was against every policy they had and she was going to fire the employees that had helped my previously. Pretty childish, but hey, its her business. When i asked about the $10 she said, "if $10 is that big of a deal to you, then ill remove the fee". She was rude and condescending. I have been a loyal customer and the way i was talked to was unnecessary and unprofessional. The sweet fun demeanor Chandra has at reservation is not the same Chandra you get if you have a problem. Like i said before, little issues were had, but the unprofessional nature of Chandras voice and word choices is what i cant look past. The final straw came when the crew came to pick up the bounce house. I had $20 bucks in my pocket for tip but was never able to give it to the guys. They loaded up and truck and took off with out another word. They never even went back and shut the gate when they left. Unfortunately, this means my 3 dogs were running the neighborhood at 9 o'clock at night. Luckily they all made it home safely. Im surprised anyone can run a successful business with the level of care and professionalism Inflatable Party Magic shows. Fortunately for me, and all of you, there are plenty other bounce house companies in the DFW area. read more
