Food was close to Incredible. We got chicken malai tikka, paneer lababdar, garlic naans and lacha prantha. Everything was good and delicious. Garlic naan was one of best I had in Canada. Ckcien that came with topped with onions, garnish, and coated in spices. The breading was a bit crunchy and the interior was soft and tender. A good blend of opposites when you bite into it. The next dish was dolphin kuthu. It was an interesting blend of several different things. Chopped roti, egg, mixed vege and chicken. Similar to the chicken, it was a mix of soft roti as a result of the sauce and the firmer vegetables and chicken. My friend ordered a bit spicy for me, but overall, the dish was really well made. The final dish was a mutton lamprais. It was a rice dish wrapped in a banana leaf. Each section was packed with something different- eggplant, shrimp, garlic etc. If you're looking to try a huge variety of different Sri Lankan food, this is what you would get. Overall I really enjoyed the variety as you can get something different in every bite. Ended with the Watalappam dessert, which is a coconut custard pudding. It was soft, smooth, creamy and not too sweet. You can really taste the coconut in the pudding.

I liked that it was topped with an omelette. 2) Crab Pittu Combo (pittu served with crab curry, fried fish, Jaffna-style omelette (with onions, garlic, curry leaves, turmeric, green chillies), pol (coconut) sambol, coconut milk sodhi) - There were a lot of ingredients and dishes in this combo! The pittu itself was very mild and dense - a good carb accompaniment to everything else. The crab was hard to eat as they didn't pre-crack any of the shells, and they didn't give a cracker to crack them open. I liked the Jaffna-style omelette and fish that came with this combo, in addition to the grated coconut crumbles that were part of the pittu. In addition to Sri Lankan dishes, there were South Indian and Hakka dishes as well on the menu. They offer take-out and delivery (saw lots of delivery drivers waiting for orders). We might go back to try some of the other dishes that we didn't get to try this time around (thanks to the extensive menu and large portion sizes).

I generally do not like bell peppers, but the addition of them in the chili chicken dish was not entirely off putting as they were not raw. The dish came with a nicely seasoned and spicy sauce, which was a good accompaniment to the fried rice. The gulab jamun (one piece per order) is bigger compared to what you'd normally expect when ordering this dessert at an Indian restaurant. Loved the addition of the crushed pistachios, which not only added a great contrast in texture, but also imparted its flavor into the syrup. Great, sweet ending to the meal.
