I would NOT recommend Young Guns Driveway Sealing and Lawn Aeration…read more I was told the workers would be at my home at 3pm... he didn't arrive until 7pm, nor did anyone call to say he was running late. I paid upon the agreement that the cracks would be filled the the driveway would be cleaned and then sealed. The worker did not blow the dirt off the driveway before he began- he sealed over a lot of loose sand and dirt and rocks- so that when I blew the driveway off a few days later, a lot of light spots appeared underneath these loose objects. There was a spot where grass is growing out of a crack- he didn't fill these cracks, he simply sealed over the grass and the crack! One of the worker's friends came by while he was working on my driveway- and he gave his friend a lesson/turn with the spray sealer. I spoke to someone on the phone about the poor job that had been done, and I got a talk about how expensive asphalt is and that they charge by the crack to fill... so if I wanted them to fix the sub-par job, they would, but they would have to charge me to do so. My biggest issue with the Young Guns team, is they have a salesman knocking on doors to get the sales and then they have a labourer come out to do the job-- but he doesn't deliver on what the salesman promised. I requested an experienced person come to take a look at the job to see if they would deem it adequate... no one ever came by.

The final results of the entrance, walkways and plantings were aesthetically pleasing, giving the home instant curb appeal. It appears that no matter how large or small the work, Ralph is ready to access a problem and offer suggestions. Ralph also installed a better draining system from the downspout at the side of the house and did an excellent job installing new stone between the walkway and our paved driveway. We're so pleased with the maintenance work that it makes us wish that we had known them in 2006 because we're sure that if they had done the original work, none of the subsequent maintenance and adjustments would have been necessary. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work to be done.
